  Summary: ALPHA adopters only The Good: -Multiplayer -The base is a good idea -What's there is relatively polished -Menu's and customization work -Art style works The Bad: The inventory system needs a major layout rework, or the ability to customize every slot The climbing mechanic are push base rather than grab, it's not fun trying to climb No fire select on weapons The Ugly: No tech tree or progression No AI cover or tactics. They're enemies, they just aren't a puzzle to defeat - They'll run straight into your headshot. No Tutorial Almost none of the objects are interactive Enemies don't drop ammo and I haven't figured out how to replenish ammo during a mission As the game evolves, I'll update my review. As of now, it's lacking a few critical things to make it a minimum viable product IMO.

  I got this as a "hey lets try this together" and recommended it to a few friends. HOLY CRAP I am completely surprised at how good this is. The procedural generation of levels give a lot of repeatability and the limited ammo per mission adds a lot of depth to tactics and give it a real touch of reality. Sure there are a few flaws with the inventory system and the graphics are not as good as pavlov, H3, or Arizona Sunshine, but the gameplay is great. I dont think Ive ever played an early access game that has had such a good foundation and has so much that it can add/polish while not feeling empty in its current state. I cant wait for future updates! Ive read a few reviews that say theyve had issues with lag and such. Im using a 2080 Ti and my friends are using Oculus quest 2's and streaming from steamVR to to the headsets and have had no complaints. While their lag and other issues may be real, my money says that its not a game issue but a hardware one.

  Fun but needs to be way more content/ polish. Wouldn't recommend until there a large update.

  Take a look at the average gameplay time in the reviews and you'll understand the issue almost immediately. It's not a bad game - its just that there is not enough content to keep you interested for more than a few minutes. Generated layouts are cool, but the AI is so easy theres little to no challenge whatsoever. The "Operations" gamemode is neat, where you have limited ammo, but 4 out of 4 of my attemps have me stuck on the 2nd or 3rd levels attempting to find "Intel" that doesn't exist. The last attempt involved us going room to room marking whether or not we cleared it by just leaving items or bodies in the room and yet we still couldnt find it. On other modes, the intel spawns properly, but not on Operations. The gunplay is "Ok" at best. The attachment system really offers no incentive to pick-and-choose what you want to bring, as you can put just about everything on your gun with no penalty, so why wouldnt you ever go in without a laser/flashlight/sight? The destructibility aspect of the game is a fun one, but with the current level of AI, its almost completely unnecessary. At no point did I ever think I needed to actually breach a wall or boarded up doorway with a charge when I could just bash down the wood with the butt of my rifle, stick my gun in, and kill everyone in the room without so much as a reaction from the AI. It gets stale quickly, and I don't find myself wanting to come back for more.

  Pros : Rainbow Six Siege in VR, you can do about anything you can in that game and more I think, it's just that you don't have special operator abiltiies. You can climb any walls and break any walls/ceiling. Reloading weapons is manual (just as it should be in any VR FPS) Cons : Needs more content, mod support and enemies should be more deadly.\

  At the time of writing this, it is basically unplayable with index controllers. Can't really say much about content, since I didn't get to test it out. - While handling a gun, it would drop instantly when moving my hand. - Trying to pull the charging handle, my character would instead get the magazine out. Same thing if trying to hold the gun barrel with other hand. (edit 23.06. I saw some hearts so I changed the wording, lol) ---- Update 23.06.2022 Made a quick test if things are better after recent patch and it looks like it is much better this time. - Gun didn't drop while moving my character or my hand. - While manipulating gun (grip, mag, charging handle), it did what is was suppose to. Why I don't recommend it just yet? Gun would yeet / drop it self randomly, but only while I was using my right hand. Left was holding just fine. -> but maybe my controller is malfunctioning? Yea, that crossed my mind and I tested my controller grip in other games that has similar weapon manipulation (grip&hold) and they were fine. ----

  Been eyeing this game for a while due to its rainbow six inspiration. Unfortunately the hit registration is making it not enjoyable. Why make stairs with gaps in the steps if you cant shoot through the gaps? Why make the railings nearly impossible to shoot through? One shot head-shot, but i dump half a mag into the chest and they are terminators? Needs some balancing. Not a huge fan of the holster system either, i tried to use the option to move it lower but that is not functioning properly. I tend to grab and drop things on accident a lot due to its placement which i cant adjust.
