  Every-time i play a house style building game or similar, I always think about or return to Landlord's Super. It's just superior to anything else out there and is in my opinion very underrated. Once there is more to do this will be a fucking masterpiece. Imagine this game with more property or even apartments. Oh boy!

  This game is so good! I know it's in early access but I loved the 1980's UK setting. You can tell a ton of research and care went into the NPCs and location. I enjoyed it way more than other renovation games. I love House Flipper but I felt so much more connected to what I was doing here than in that game because of how fleshed out Landlord Super's world is. What I loved • The dialogue and the locals, the NPCs were such a highlight. Totter my beloved • You can change what kind of CRT television display your graphics settings are simulating!! Such a cool detail • Building feels really soothing, I enjoyed doing things like laying ceiling tiles and bricks but the game streamlines enough of the process so it never gets tedious. • Tutorials often take place in the form of posted jobs for people around town, this was a really enjoyable way to organically learn. You still have to figure a lot out yourself but not so much that I ever got frustrated. • The game does a good job with these tutorials setting things up in a way that you can figure things out yourself too. The bricklaying tutorial has you patching up a crumbling wall, you can figure things out by replicating the bits of the wall still there. Really satisfying to get to puzzle something out yourself like this. Not something I've experienced in many games. • Love the wallpaper • Love the new furniture additions • Stole some building supplies from an NPC, felt really bad about it later. Great immersion. • If you can't find water you can just piss in the cement mixer. What I'd love to see more of (if possible!) • I kept getting the storage bucket and the water bucket confused, if it was clearer from the outset that these are different. • It took me a while to figure out you can replenish your energy by eating at the bar, this would have been useful to know earlier. Maybe I another place you can buy food to help introduce this mechanic • More NPCs/side quests/development in the hub area. The world feels a little too empty for the amount of murderous car drivers that keep trying to run me over. I'd love to get to know the NPCs outside of doing jobs for them too. • More areas and buildings to explore in the countryside, I enjoyed wandering around and finding trash I could repurpose but I'd explored everything within a few in-game days. • More tenants and lots, more variety in lots/apartments This game seems like it's come a long way since first release but I feel like it still has so much potential to outshine all other renovation sims and I hope the devs are able to keep building it up. Really seems like it could be an absolute masterpiece. 10/10 I will never stop pissing in my concrete mix.

  The game is pretty fun. It's like a less intensive My Summer Car, but for houses. I have played this game at two separate phases in development. One of the was before they added any of the tenants to the game, and most recently on Patch 0.10.16. Pros: - Building a House can be quite fun, and is very satisfying. The first house you build is a sweet flip, and selling it allows you to essentially build your dream house right after. - The game has five properties that you can flip for fun, and each of them are their own little puzzle to complete. - The addition of power-tools has made the game much more enjoyable, as I don't have to go to a pub for to regain your energy or go to bed at 2:30pm. - The addition of snacks, and being able to put it in your toolbelt was a lifesaver for this game. Before hand, you'd have to go drink to regain energy, which then also made you drunk while working. It was funny the first time, but it got old pretty quickly. - The atmosphere is great, feels a little bit like a snapshot of living in a small English town (or what I would assume it is like.) - There is a sidejob system that is limited to three infinitely repeating jobs. At first, the jobs provide materials for you to use, and works as a sort of impromptu tutorial for mechanics like roofing, brick laying, and pouring concrete. Only complaint I have about this is that I wish there was more of them. Mehs: - The entire Scaffolding system sucks to use. Only way I think they could fix it would be to make the wood planks used for scaffolding to be automatically generated after you create a square or something. As of right now, it bugs out quite a bit. Placing a plank on the scaffolding is a fast way to end up with it being lodged into your wall at mach 2 and destroying progress on your house. A misclick on a part of scaffolding can cause you to pick up the ENTIRE array that you've built, and good luck actually getting it to place back correctly. If you drop scaffolding that has other pieces attached to it, it'll just fly off into space. From community screenshots, I have never seen anybody actually set up a proper scaffolding and I understand why. I'd avoid trying to use scaffolding as much as possible. Lastly, Scaffolding magically disappears at random intervals whenever you go to sleep or even when reloading your save. I like to laugh it off as West Berklands dopefiends stealing my shit. - I would like for a proper grocery store to be added, if not just to have the ability to buy a bunch of snacks and put them in my fridge at the caravan without having to go to the pub to buy four packs of snacks at a time. - Please let us get a bigger wheelbarrow. A super landlord's super. - Please let us color co-ordinate our storage buckets. Or make the lids color co-ordinate depending on what you put in it. - LADDERS! Please give us standing ladders that we can work from, as well as extension ladders so that we can get to higher floors and roofs easier. If you could, I would LOVE to have the ability to work from a ladder. It would make things so much easier. - Maybe as a late game thing, we could purchase a scissor lift or a cherry-picker to help alleviate the pains of scaffolding. - I dislike where the entrance to the toolshed is located. I would like for it to be much closer to the camper and the worksite proper.
