  This game was an emotional journey. The fact that you can create life just as fast as you can take it really made me realise how short life is. Because of this game I have decided that I will occasionally partake in the Purge and venture round my town slaughtering innocents and creatures to purify my soul. Thank you!

  Taking a look recently at old CHKN videos has been a huge reminder of how far the game has come and, how these artists and developers have dug deep into their imaginations to create and expand a world full of personality and character. When I sit and think about this game, what CHKN has above all else is just that: personality. Where other games have caught my craving to design and construct a world made of blocks, none have quite captured the life and the heart, that can be found in CHKN's lifeblocks. CHKN embraces building a connection when building yourself a personal companion, and this sort of unique animation that comes out of such customized creatures is what keeps the game interesting and evolving.

  first review ever posted. game won't load. edit: The dev team wasted no time to get back to me with my issue. Only a few hours after I posted this review, I had a response by them trying to assist me to get it running! I haven't seen that much attentiveness and care from a dev team. That was a huge shocker to me! I am canceling my refund request soley due to their willingess to assist. Definitely earned this thumbs up and sale. Keep it up CHKN team. Thanks for the assistance!!!! Double Edit: I got a good 53hrs out of this game that I have thoroughly and honest enjoyed. I personally love survival crafting games. :p this one scratched that never ending itch for a new one nicely! There was a decent bit of difficultly, but still easily enjoyed by even the most casual player. I'd say it was well worth the purchase.

  Its a game...that makes you create pokemon! but i found a glitch. after you battle with your creatures, he duplicates. i got 5 cowasaurus now. please make it stop.

  Developers posted an annoucement stating they're changing the engine and will provide "News" when they can; Nothing since then. Be wary with your purchase at this point. Great game, fair share of bugs and issues. Needs alot of polishing. I did enjoy it but i'm skeptical that this will be another abandonedware title in my library. Update 12/5/20 - Still nothing from the developers; hold onto your money. There has been zero communication or updates. Update 3/17/21 - No changes or updates. Update 7/25/21 - How much proof do you need? This game is dead. ZERO updates via discord or steam store page. Save your money folks

  This game is witty fun. -The exploration is brief, but HIGHLY rewarding on a deep, emotional level. The wonder of the unkown is strong here. -The creatures are downright silly, in a good way. I look up at my wall to see a pair of eyeballs just staring at me over the wallon stalks. It's an herbivore I recognize, so I'm not concerned.. Of course, I had dropped a body part in my base and so what I didn't realize was that featherhose was about to eat my wall, eat the body part (only to spit it back up) and throw a 300hp temper tantrum on me for the terrible food he stole that he didn't even like... Then finally, after repeated deaths at his hoof, he decides to pick up my wall, and run off with it.. Hilarious. And I am still seeking revenge to this day. -The playtime is short. It has room for expandability, but at it's given state I don't expect to see it anytime soon. Although I do expect to see it at some point. It's a gaem best played with friends when you just want to have fun, and aren't necessarily expecting to get anything specific done.

  Pretty sure this project has died... Like the weird chicken-cow-snake thing I made when it was still alive with anticipation for the next update. That was around a year ago now, or more... Don't buy this if you're expecting any more updates!! Just a heads up for everyone looking at this in 2021 =)
