Trials Evolution: Gold Edition خصوصیات

Trials Evolution: Gold Edition marks the Trials franchise’s triumphant return to the PC gaming platform. RedLynx’s signature franchise, the Trials series first made its mark in gaming with the 2008 release of Trials 2 SE for the PC. That breakout indie success led to further success on the Xbox, but ever since then PC gamers have been clamoring for more Trials. Trials Evolution: Gold Edition is what they have been waiting for.

The Gold Edition Is Two Trials In One

Trials Evolution: Gold Edition will contain all the content of the original, best-selling XBLA game Trials Evolution. In addition, all of the single player tracks and skill games from Trials HD will be found in Trials Evolution – effectively doubling the content offering with two complete games, neither of which have ever before been available on PC.

OPTIMIZED AND ENHANCED FOR PC

Trials Evolution: Gold Edition will be optimized and enhanced for the PC gaming platform. All of the features of its forerunners – from the in-game editor, player sharing of tracks, and global Leader Boards, will be re-integrated into the game in a way that fits the new platform.

Key Features

  • Multiplayer
  • Track Editor
  • Indoor and Outdoor environments
  • Bike and rider customizations
  • Global competition

One of the best games from Finland (don't get confused because Ubisoft is only publisher of this game and developer RedLynx is finnish studio). It's so addictive and you just want to break your best time/score in every track many times. Absolutely worth of money, only negative thing is Uplay required to play this game!

It's a real shame but the Ubisoft launcher experience was atrocious. Resetting passwords multiple times, the new passwords not working until after 20 minutes, one did. Second time playing, the password hasn't saved in the app and needs resetting again. If you buy a game and launch a game on Steam, you shouldn't ever have to deal with another app getting in the way of your purchase.

I will be the first to admit I am not the most "hardcore" gamer on the planet. Some may even call me a b***h, and I'm totally fine with that. This all means that when games become super hard I generally tend to turn them off and do something that doesn't make me want to smash my face into a concrete slab. This game however, is incrediably rewarding and keeps me drawn in. I have unlocked all the tracks in both sections of the game (Trials HD, and Evolution). I in no way would ever concider myself a "good" trials player. Look up videos of folks pulling off Extreme traks with 0 faults, and you will know what god looks like. The reason that this game doesn't get frustrating, is the amazing physics system. I have never once felt like the game cheated me out of landing a partifuclar obstacle. Everytime I fail I know it is my own fault and the only thing standing between me and the finsih line is skill, not luck. This brings me back again again and again. If I have 20 minutes before I head to class to play a game, this is almost always what I chose. I try my hardest to get a gold medal on whatever track I chose. If I suceed, I feel like like the worlds biggest bad a** all day. If I fail, I'm no frustrated, and all day I'm thinking about what I need to do different to reach my objective. I love the fact that the online multiplayer allows you to use whatever bike and ride on whatever track you want (irregardless of weather or not you have unlocked that content in the single player.) This provided hours of enjoyment as me and my bestfriend tackled Extreme tracks knowing damn well we barely had the skill for Medium tracks. This system actually improved our skill quite rapidly and I'm all for it. I wish more games would allow players to access all content from the get go. I've never written a review before, so excuse me if this was all rambling, but this has become one of my favorite games of all time and so I felt it was fitting to share my opinion!
Better than Trials Fusion & Trials Rising
Note: I added an updated section further in the review detailing my thoughts on Trials Rising If you're debating between this game and the sequel Trials Fusion, get this game, it's from an era where Ubisoft was decent and you can tell Red Lynx poured their heart and soul into this game. This game is superior. It has: - Far more tracks - No day 1 DLCs - No microtransactions nor gambling crates unlike Trials Rising & Fusion - Slightly better optimization - although has frame rate issues on some tracks and 60fps cap. - Launch multiplayer - No multiple season passes or a million "deluxe" editions hiding base game content. I grew up playing the Trials flash games on miniclip for dozens of hours. This game feels like old times again, but now with a fresh coat of paint, tons of insane tracks, and a head banging soundtrack. At times I find myself laughing from the sheer comical absurdy of the game - there's a track where once you cross the finish line and think you're good to go, 3 nukes casually drop from the ceiling and send you ragdolling into oblivion. Even as the tracks get harder (and believe me they get very hard), it somehow becomes even more fun to keep playing and finesse your skills. But sometimes you'll have to concede defeat and come back another time else you'll make your blood boil in frustration. The level editor adds practically infinite replayability to the game, and while multiplayer isn't nearly as large as it used to be (it's almost dead), don't let that stop you from playing Trials Evolution - it's fun as hell. Update 2019-01-16: Cannot download any user tracks. Not sure if servers are shutdown or what but will update if persists.
Update 2019-02-26: On Trials Rising's Microtransactions & Gambling Crates:
The newest Trials game (Trials Rising) just dropped and while it may be technically solid and really fun, by principle I will not support the game's predatory and poisonous business model, despite how benign Ubisoft tries to make it seem at surface value. In fact I will denounce it and other games that continue to follow its model. Let me explain... The new Trials Rising has gambling crates and microtransactions. I firmly believe paid games should not have free to play economies unless the game itself is free. Microtransactions are not optional and they affect gameplay, even if cosmetic. They are tied directly to the game's progression system which is inflated to increase grind and drip feed content. What's more, content that would have otherwise been in the full priced base game is stripped out and held ransom behind cheap artificial paywalls. How much longer are we going to let multibillion dollar companies nickel and dime us and inject gambling directly into games? Why are we letting them continue to teach kids that gambling and dropping cash on these ripped pieces of pixel colors is ok when it is not? It isn't optional to participate in the microtransactions because you will be affected in some way because the game itself has altered progression, ripped content, and artificially inflated grinds. Because remember, no publisher puts microtransactions in a game with the expectation that you won't buy them. In other words, they stealthily incentivize you towards the in-game store through premium currencies and try to justify it with "it's just cosmetic" when I just explained why it's a bogus excuse. They never flat out say "microtransaction" or "gambling" despite that being exactly what it is and instead say "in game economy", "premium currencies (a.k.a. acorns)", and "loot crates". Just give players the whole damn game we payed for. All that development time that goes into this stuff could be better spent on developing game content, not milking a finite player base for infinite money. Just take a look at this: Trials Rising launched without private multiplayer meaning "there is no party system and private multiplayer is locked on release." In response to a player wondering why this is the case, a developer told the reviewer "Hi! Please note that private multiplayer will be available for Trials Rising on PC, PS4 and XB1 in April." If you don't believe me here's the exact conversation: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198083770376/recommended/641080/#developer_response Like what the actual hell?! 2 months after release and while Ubisoft and developers made sure microtransactions worked they couldn't even be bothered to finish the damn multiplayer. That's fucking disgraceful. And who's to say months down the road when private multiplayer is added it won't have server issues. This isn't some huge game made by hundreds of people, this is a much smaller game with an established history and they're releasing unfinished products and milking it like a mobile phone game. Makes me wonder if lead developer "Eno" is behind this like they were for Trials Fusion microtransactions. And if developers don't like it either then damnit grow a backbone, speak up about it, and defend your game's integrity that you put so much hard work into. Either you want these detestable practices or you don't. Paid games should not have free to play economies. Period. To me, Trials Evolution is now the defacto better game.

This is by far one of my favorite games. The physics are just right, the gameplay is easy sometimes but progressivly gets super hard. The only hinderance is that it uses uplay, which is not a big deal but it's annoying.

if your'e a fan of "tilty bike" games (no idea the actual genre name) then youl enjoy this game, the only downside is a controller is a must, as you need a pressure sensitive trigger/button to get the gas just right to get those tricky hills and jumps. Other than that, this game is the top game in its genre, good visuals, great gameplay, and a great franchise. if you are considering buying it, do it. i doubt you'd be dissapointed. Akari-chan
