  Overall, I give this a negative review, however the game has its merits and is playable, so it is a close one. The length and content presented is definetly above average quantity. The story couldn't be dumber, you could pretty much wrap any other around it. The hidden-object-puzzles are okay but need to get used to, sometimes bad translation into german for the objects to find. I did not like absurd adventure parts, there are lots of it (like that a lightbulb only works in one socket but not in another identical one, one-time use screwdrivers -> find the next screwdriver, if there are two identical screws on a plate, open the left first, because the right one only works as second, knife a only cuts rope a and knife b only rope b, a torch can only be lit at a certain candle not on other candles etc. -> don't fill you game with lots of items that are interchangable in its function in the real world when you cannot handle such in the game), the rather unusable map, lots of backtracking and running from one end of the map to the other and no quick travel making it a click through screens simulator etc. Fortunately, there is a hint function that is helpful most of the time.

  This is a pretty good HOG. The story is interesting and the graphics are good. It was thankfully missing the types of things that typically detract from HOGs - no ridiculous dialog or poorly-executed human animations. If you mainly play these for the puzzles, you might be disappointed as there didn't seem to be a large amount. However, there were plenty of HO scenes. Overall, I enjoyed this one quite a bit.
