  Given a graphical overhaul as well as some UI improvements this game could be one of my favourite fighting games one day, i really enjoy the horror/folklore characters and the mechanics for the game are sound so im excited to see where this game goes in future

  Fantastic new fighting game runs great. I do find it weird that the default CPU level is hard not normal. Also Frankenstein's open gets a little blurry. But it is a fun game that I recommend to anyone.

  If you're a fan of the first Terrordrome: Rise of the Boogeymen, and more importantly familiar with how to play the previous entry, you'll find that it's sequel Terrordrome: Reign of the Legends is worth your while. Even if you're new to the series, this is a simple fighting game with a multitude of complex mechanics that are fun to explore. As of writing this review, the is in an Early Access version, so understand that the game is incomplete. The developers, who consist of a small indie team, are actively working on the game and speak directly to their fans and community. So feedback is frequently received and considered. Pros: - Interesting premise of using iconic horror characters, cryptids, and folklore as playable fighters such as Frankenstein, Sasquatch, and Bloody Mary. - Fleshed out fighting mechanics, combo structure, meter management etc. - Improved core mechanics from the previous entry, adding new abilities such as EX Meter Burn moves for combo extension. Aerial combo breakaways have been added to free yourself from being stuck in a combo. Dodging has been improved and can be cancelled out of into any move as a parry system. Plenty more. - Characters now have the ability to perform Death Sentence finishers which are cinematic brutal endings to the fight. - Soundtrack is well suited for the game and is a joy to listen to. - Plenty of promise and potential, with a small indie team who constantly listens and interacts with their audience. - GGPO Netcode in place for a promising online netplay experience. Cons - As this is Early Access, bugs are to be expecting. It is extremely likely to come across some as you play. Feel free to report any you may find. - There are some stiff inputs for certain moves that can be hard to pull off properly. - Optimization is not great. - Some characters currently can perform infinites. - Currently a small roster of 5 characters. Expect this to be expanded upon of course. - Menu UI can be frustrating and some information in menus are incorrect as of writing this. Overall, this is a promising title with a solid foundation. The fighting game community can definitely enjoy this game,

  Great potential for this game, could begin a new franchise into the fighting game genre. Of course this is a early access version, so, you can expect much more improvement to come, that's for sure ! the game has a solid concept and with time and patience, can turn into a very polished and optimized product, let's see what happen next !

  I wrote a pretty positive review a month and a half into launch, and as of late, I am changing my review to negative. There is a pretty talented team here working hard to iterate and put together Terrordrome, however, with the recent updates these past few months, developer Discord responses, and priorities of Early Access, have all been slowly going downhill. The lack of actual testing in house per update is making every version slightly less unplayable, and the lack of attention to consistent complaints such as input timing, buffering, and core functionality for some characters, have been addressed shallowly by 'it works fine for us', far too many times. I will be keeping myself tuned into upcoming updates leading up to launch, but with each update slowly getting worse, and the communication given via the Discord team, my time with Terrordrome has been more negative than positive, and I hope to see improved feedback recognition and more attention to quality in upcoming updates.

  So, I played arcade mode with all five characters in the game so far to get a feel of them and I gotta say for the most part I'm impressed. The game is really fun and most of the current roster feel on par with each other with nobody being overpowered. That being said there is one huge exception to this. Frankenstein kinda sucks. Now, I will admit that despite the fact that fighting games are my favorite genre, I’m not amazing at them. Despite that I know a bad character when I see one. To explain, he feels like he should hit a lot harder than he does with how slow and sluggish his attacks are. Every other character is so much faster than him and can punish him for making the smallest mistake to the point that he feels like a risk/reward character without the reward. Also, while playing I encountered a bug about four or five times with Alex Van Helsing where he would just randomly freeze in place without being stunned and be stuck for several seconds. Only being able to move again once attacked. Not a dealbreaker since this is an early access game, but it’s something that probably should be fixed in the future. Overall I would recommend the game and I look forward to future updates and characters. I’m sure it’ll be great once it’s fully polished.

  +Simple, fun combo system +The devs seem pretty active and passionate +Good price tag +You get to play as Sasquatch -literally no one online atm, and from what I've played, it's far from being smooth. It works tho and I'm sure it'll get improved. -There are bugs; the game is quite early at his point, but nothing game breaking from my experience so far. -As with any fighting game, needs a tutorial, and this one has none. Can't expect people to just know all the mechanics in a game, my dudes. At the end of the day, I give it a thumbs up. It's fun and downright goofy at times, which I love. I think the main thing here is community, as with pretty much any game (especially fighting), it will be what keeps this game going. Get online people, catch these Sasquatch hands.
