  1 part puzzle game, 1 part platform game, 8 parts mindless fun! There aren't a lot of games where you get to play the monster, and even less that are this fun!

  Absolutely, positively, hands-down one of the "funnest" (and funniest) games ever made. You play a blob who graduates from being a mere splotch on a university campus to a monster big enough to eat the entire SOLAR SYSTEM! It's as simultaneously silly and genius as it sounds, and clever enough in its design that even an eejit of such limited hand-eye coordination and puzzle-solving skills as myself could get through it...though some serious perseverance was required in a few bits, let me tell ya! About the only remotely constructive criticism I can manage is that a few such insanely-difficult sections could perhaps use an extra checkpoint or two in their midst. But all those clever clogs who think they're the bees-fuckin'-knees at these games are gonna see this level of difficulty as a plus and not a minus anyway, so it's barely worth mentioning. One of those rare games you can safely recommend to just about "everyone", or at least anyone with even a whiff of open-mindedness and a vague sense of humour. HIGHLY FUCKING RECOMMENDED. And a steal even at full price!!! Verdict: 9.5/10.

  A cool little game from a great indie group. You play as a space blob that consumes objects to grow and uses telekinesis and other tricks to escape, travel and free other mutant blobs. The game has some unique physics, simple puzzles and very interesting graphics. It's not the best game by this dev (shout out Guacamelee!), but it is enjoyable and has a storyline that features a nice sense of humor. Nice game to fill some time; I'd recommend.

  Gish meets Katamari? Mutant Blobs Attack is a simple puzzle platformer where you eat stuff to get bigger so you can eat bigger stuff in order to progress through the short levels. The gameplay is fun, the controls are intuitive, it's mildly challenging in certain spots, and there's kind of a story thrown in as well. It's satisfying for at least one play through, maybe more if you want to go achievement hunting.

  This expertly made platformer is not only technically excellent, but oozes style. The platforming is unique and extremely fun, the puzzles are not difficult but they're not supposed to be because the pacing is just right, the introduction of abilities for your blob is timed perfectly, and it is quite challenging to 100%, but not impossible like some platformers tend to be. On top of that, it has that intangible quality to it that just makes it such joy to play. The humor, music, animation are just fantastic, this was the only game I played until I finished it because I just had so much fun!

  Nice casual collectathon platformer. Contains platforming challenges, puzzles, secrets. There are multiple interesting mechanics: eat things smaller than you to grow, attract and detract from things, control some mechanisms with telekinesis. There are also parts where you use a jetpack instead. And some relaxed top-down levels. The presentation is pretty nice and comical. Loaded with puns and game references. ★★★★★★★★☆☆

  Great platformer from the creators of magnificent Guacamelee. There are cards, achievements, leaderboards, points to collect and secret friends. You play as a blob who has to eat in order to grow.

  Omg, buy it !!! One of the best platformers combined with some deadly action that I have ever played!! ^_^ You are a fucking mutant blob that eats stuff, solves puzzles, and can use a rocket to boost your speed, magnetize, float, use control machines etc! And it also got a bit story in it & nice music that won't go on your nerves! Plus achievements, rankladder and finding your blob friends! Addicting game :D!

  In Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack you'll play as a blob with the objective to eat everything in your path. The story starts out with the Blob being studied in some facility along with its blob friends, and staging an escape in order to seek revenge. Once it escapes, it starts eating everything in its path, starting from small things like pencils and such, and growing larger the more it eats. I wouldn't say it's a great story, but I wouldn't say it's bad either; it's there to give the game a backdrop for its gameplay. Talking about gameplay, it's pretty straightforward; it plays like a platformer/puzzle mix; you move through the stages eating stuff by simply "walking" over them (not that the Blob really walks, it just slides everywhere), and in some sections you need to reach a certain size before proceeding. There's 24 levels, as well as 5 "mini-games", which are actually smaller levels played from a top-down view. This game comes from the developers of Guacamelee, and just like that game, it's full of pop culture references spread in the background of the levels, which are pretty humorous to spot. The art style itself is pretty nice as well; nothing spectacular, but something colourful to look at. Well, that's all I've got to say for Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack. It's not a really difficult game, but still, I found it enjoyable, so I recommend it.
