  I nominated this game for the "Labor of Love" Award, due to this being a 15 year commitment of space combat on the internet and a passion to keep the game which has brought joy to many over time, alive throughout the years. Short Version: Buy this game, its a tremendous value if your looking for a SCIFI pew pew spaceship shooter with weapon customization, A living breathing galaxy to interact with, explore and mold. Contains PvE, PvP, Coop online and offline modes. Updates to the universe are very, very frequent, coming in at large contents twice a month or one big patch with tweaks that follow. At the time of writing this it is in early Alpha and suggestions and feedback are always considered and logged and appreciated. Long Version: Starfighter: Infinity is a much long awaited sequel to SF: Disputed Galaxy in the age of internets when flash games were king. This game comes with 5 games! Its a very good update to the Starfighter titles and after playing it this past month, I've made some friends, some enemies and explored 5 out of i dunno 12? sectors of space so far, with 100 or so being quadrants. There's no in-game purchases, skins and extras for your ships are earned through exploration and some rare items are obtained by blasting pests/locals of the sector of space. Money is obtained by kills and missions, which you can choose which to do dependant on capabilities of ship. It feels balanced, money management-wise too, using the more expensive weapons is costly, so instead of spamming a high powered weapon you will be paying for it. There are rare item drops you can equip your ship with and a skill tree to keep buffing your ship weaponry and augments. Even non rare items drop, which can be sold back to the stations and keep your cashflow rolling in. You get 10 lives and you will need to dock and replenish as your travel along the stars, which also cost money. Bigger ships and expensive weapons cost a lot, so be sure to pay attention to costs that way you are formidable, or craft more upgraded energy replacements. Unlike certain studios who charge VR for titles you already own...Ben Olding gives you near the entire library of Starfighter games in 'extras' associated with the StarFighter series (3 games, Starfighter, Starfighter:Defender and Starfighter: Disputed Galaxy), Starfighter: Infinity and the Starfighter: Infinity VR. Here is a brief summary of the 'extra' games: Starfighter - A 10 level Flash based skill game where you overcome challenges with custom spaceship builds. She's an old game, but it checks out. A good challenge to conquer if you want to complete a piece of internet history and to check out this series' humble beginnings. Starfighter:Defender - A highscore/survival type game - You man an isolated substation for the Alien or Human faction and survive as long as you can from enemy attackers. It has great replay value. Upgrades come in the form of enemy ships, shoot them to upgrade (or downgrade!) your turret capabilities! Starfighter: Disputed Galaxy - This is a no longer supported multiplayer flashgame that is the father of Starfighter: Infinity. It is an updated offline version. You can command a ship, upgrade said ship and patrol around the known galaxy in a fight against your enemy. You get missions from the space stations and proceed however you wish in an open world. Not into fighting? Deliver Goods or medical supplies to other stations or just fly around and do what you wish. In SF:DG Online peak it was a great game to log into, gain credits and kills and fight online nemesis. You could warp to the other end of the galaxy and cause some mischief. All of that and MORE is in this updated Starfighter: Infinity! ----- I hope you consider to purchase this game, i believe its worth having in your library and playing from time to time or to join the galaxy and rally days on end with us old timers.

  This is a great game; it is the sequel to a game released on Kongregate a decade ago. It has a bit of a cult-like following due to this. At the moment it is mostly single-player with the ability to chat and duel other players in the galaxy (not a true MMO). you will rarely run across another player unless you are in the first star system. If you want to stay in touch with the community I highly recommend joining the discord. The developer is very active and perceptive to complaints and suggestions. At the moment I give it 9/10, it is very fun for the single player, but some of the features (dueling, organizations, etc.) require a larger player base to be completely functional.
