  Very much like the first one, if you enjoyed that then you will enjoy this, in essence just a continuation of the story with some minor improvements to mechanics. Once again, good job devs, enjoyed this one also, will be watching what Circle Poison do next.

  7/10 I do like the ending, there seems to be 3 ending depending on what you do with your character early on, and it's pretty similar to the previous game in term of explicit scene. I will say that they were kinda lazy that they reused the first game art, but that doesn't matter since they also change the explicit scene. I watched the weird ending and the wholesome ending, both I do love them. The gameplay is different from the first game though where instead of doing side missions you actually have to do all part to progress the game. It's a lot longer as well compared to the first one. You're able to port your save from the first game to this game.

  Don't know why this game got a sequel over Treasure Hunter Claire or President Yukino. Last boss was bullshit, ending was rushed, and [spoiler]you don't end up sleeping with Leon or Monty -_-[/spoiler]

  Like the first, if you are a non-vanilla fans, this is for you. (Look around for the patch yourself) You can transfer your save file from the first game like Mass Effect, carrying over all the stats and +3 equipments (although enemies are also leveled up as a response). Good thing is, unlike the first, if you deliberately make yourself defeated by an enemy (IYKWIM :P), you don't end up with 1 HP but full HP, so no healing items are wasted. The only thing that I want to complain about is that the fact that the player character has a sister, yet she doesn't get to do anything (again, IYKWIM), not even voiced! That's just a shame...

  First of all, as with the first game, MAKE SURE this is a game that appeals to your interests before jumping in. This is an RPG Maker title with a fully-voiced heroine and an incredible number of well-illustrated scenes that appeal to a specific niche. Those are the reasons you play this game. If you liked the first title, I would thoroughly recommend the second. Slave's Sword 2 picks up and concludes the first game's plot and puts a greater emphasis on narrative than the first, though it covers this extra ground by offering a more linear experience - which could be a plus or a minus depending on your preferences. I liked the side mission structure of the first game (to a point) but I feel this more streamlined design fits the more action-packed story this time around. Luna is still an incredibly resilient badass, regardless of almost anything the game throws at her, which is seriously awesome and refreshing to see. The music has been improved noticeably in both quality and variety, which I found to be a real treat, and there are a greater number of more varied areas to experience as you plow through Maldonia helping Luna battle her way to justice. There are even some new game mechanics, including some small but interesting twists to combat that involve defending yourself against a long list of status effects (which all actually have accompanying battle art). Losing battles (aside from boss encounters) doesn't result in a game over, and rather returns you to the field with full health, and beating the game any way (there are multiple endings) unlocks everything, so there's little risk in playing the way you want. I'd still advise keeping a few routinely updated save files, just in case, especially for those boss/story fights, since they could really set you back if you never save. I've heard Circle Poison is working on some sort of Gaiden title for the Slave's Sword series, so I'm hoping that will make its way through Kagura into English at some point, along with any other future titles for the group!

  This review is mostly about the improvements made from the first game to this. If you need something more than a continuation of the story to convince you, I hope I can help with that. Let's start with system improvements, the voice acting is no longer linked to the sound effects. So, your ears can rest easy while hearing Luna's beautiful voice acting. Leon is no longer a ghost in the gameplay department, sometimes. There's actually party members this time around, though you can't really customise them like you can with Luna. But hey, at least they're there to help. Now, onto the gameplay. Remember those out of place repeatable side missions that had no significance whatsoever in the first game? They're completely scrapped in this, instead we are granted freedom to go where we want as long as it doesn't interfere with the story, kinda like the prologue mission in the first game. Money and experience are much easier to earn, so the pace of the game is much faster. Though I'll admit I didn't like how enemies always show up in groups of 2 and 3 now, and how they're sometimes able to disable Luna in some way. It sort of kills the pacing of fights somewhat. There are items to counter these disables, but the problem of having too many useless utility items has not been resolved. You're still limited to 1 accessory and 1 gacha card slot. It's very limiting but it won't diminish the experience. Lastly, the story. Don't worry about it, it's good. It continues where the last game left off after a short time skip. [spoiler] The story won't end so quickly like the first game. The length felt just right. [/spoiler] For those who went for the lewd route, you can transfer your save data to the "PUT_YOUR_SS1_SAVES_HERE" folder located in the game's steam folder. That way your "Shame" is the same as previously, so enjoy. As for me, it remained the same since I played through the pure route. So unfortunately nothing is transferred for us pure players. A real shame, but understandable in terms of gameplay. That's all. If you liked the first one, I think you'll like this one just as much. If not more.

  I don't know why the reviews show up as "mixed". This is truly a great hentai game. It takes the first game and improves upon it somewhat. It doesn't change it very much, just pretty much continues it by adding additional content. The first game was pretty amazing. I suppose if you are using the first game as a baseline, and expecting the second one to be better, then maybe you could arrive at "mixed"? (Kind of like comparing Batman with Chuck Norris, either hero seems mundane when you're expectations are pinned to the other.) Buying this game essentially just adds to the first game. A whole second chapter, longer than the first, but basically more of the same stuff. If you liked the first game, and didn't want it to end, then by all means: buy this one!
