  gfwl is a dead service that has barely any servers and it's a hit and miss whether you can even connect to one. Unless you are one of those lucky people who can connect to one of the few remaining servers, the only way to play this game is to crack it. As keys for this game, and gfwl in general, start to dwindle, devs will be forced to either remove the game permanently from sale, or update it. IF you would like this to happen sooner than later; if you would like a version of this game that has achievements and dedicated steam servers with online play then buy the game buy a copy for your mom buy a copy for your dog buy a copy for your neighbor buy copies for everyone on your steam friends list whether they want the game or not. because the sooner games like this run out of keys, the sooner gfwl can get lost. this is not a bad game and it would be great to play it online. Unfortunately all we are waiting on is for keys to run out. So buy those keys so that those who already own this game can get that sweet free update to steamworks. alternatively, devs could just take the gfwl keys and shove them where the sun don't shine and just fix the game..but I imagine that legal reasons require them to fulfill some sort of contract with Microsoft and they cannot do so until the keys either expire or get used up.

  when this game first came out i didn't care about the reviews or "metascores" i just went to an store bought the game, came back home and started playing it on my xbox 360. back then there was no remake or anything to take me back to the raccoon city again, so this game was my ticket back to the city that i grew up in as a child and i was so exited to go back. that was a hell of a ride for me. that is my reason for liking this game, but as a die hard fan of the franchise who played every single game in the franchise and is a fan of the classic RE games i understand some of the criticisms but tbh this game really doesn't deserve this much hate in my opinion. this game is a completely action game in the franchise,it's the definition of GUN BLAZING but this time you are playing as the bad guys and when you are playing as an u.s.s soldier you can not expect survival elements in the game and it's a co-op game so you can throw the horror part out of the window too but i turned off the RE logic part of my brain and just enjoyed the ride, it's a fun game specially with your friends. this game is non-canon and that's good because it doesn't mess up the lore so you can have some fun with the mindless zombie shooting and the story of the game that is basically a WHAT IF... scenario with some of our beloved characters and B.OW's. the game definitely have problems in gameplay and textures and specially in technical parts but it's still not that bad. OVERALL REORC NEVER MEANT TO BE LIKE THE RE GAMES THAT WE ALL KNEW AND LOVE. IT'S THE UGLY CHILD OF THE FAMILY, MAYBE IT IS UGLY ON THE OUTSIDE BUT IF YOU SIT DOWN AND GIVE IT A CHANCE MAYBE YOU FIND IT BEAUTIFUL ON THE INSIDE. IT'S A FUN, CO OP ZOMBIE SHOOTING GAME IN THE RE UNIVERSE AND IT'S A FUN GAME FOR WHAT IT IS...
