  This game is so cute, the art style from Nyakori's Rabbit Doll remains the same, even improved. About gameplay, although it is not significantly different from other Metroidvania games, the puzzle part is quite creative when you can use objects to solve them, like box, seesaw, mushroom... The map is pretty big, plus the places are quite similar, so it is quite difficult to remember a specific area, in this part the game needs further improvement. The animation is very invested and cute. Monsters, NPC, and illustrations were built in great detail shows the developer's effort. ------ このゲームがめちゃ可愛い、Nyakori's Rabbit Dollからアートスタイルまだ保存されています、さらに改善された。 ゲームプレイについては、他のメトロイドヴァニアゲームとあまり変わらないものの、爆竹、箱、シーソー、キノコなどを使ってパズルを解くことはかなり独創的で面白いプレイスタイルです。 マップが広く、しかも似通ったところが多いので、特定の場所を覚えるのが大変なんです、この部分の改善が必要だと思います。 アニメーションもとてもスムーズでかわいいです。モンスター、NPC、細かいイラストにデベロッパーさんの努力が見られます。 ------ Game này dễ thương vãi, art style từ Nyakori's Rabbit Doll vẫn được giữ nguyên, thậm chí còn được cải thiện. Về lối chơi, tuy không quá khác biệt so với những tựa game Metroidvania khác nhưng phần giải đố cũng khá sáng tạo khi bạn có thể sử dụng pháo, hộp gỗ, bập bênh, nấm... để giải chúng. Bản đồ khá rộng, thêm việc các nơi khá giống nhau, nên khá khó để nhớ 1 khu vực cụ thể, về phần này game cần cải thiện thêm. Phần hoạt họa rất là mượt mà và cũng như là dễ thương. Quái vật, NPC, hình minh họa được đầu tư chi tiết cho thấy sự nỗ lực của nhà phát triển.

  Now that all of the content is more or less released, gotta say this game is pretty fun. It's unfortunate that there are so many negative reviews about the endings: particularly complaining about a specific moment that's foreshadowed the entire game. It's a bit unfortunate the endings are being changed, because I kinda liked the current events (just maybe the true end needed to be a bit more fleshed out). The higher difficulties are such a roller coaster: the first attempt is hype, then I spend like 2-3 hours raging and then I get a super clutch attempt at it's the most hype thing ever. All of the bosses have gimmicks that you need to exploit on the hardest mode especially, which could be a turn off for some, but I imagine others will love it (especially if you like getting destroyed). Something that isn't talked about is the SOUNDTRACK. OH MY GOD IT'S SO GOOD!!!! Soundtrack DLC when?????? Please? The platforming in this game also just feels so nice. Nyaruru has a dash right from the start, and she goes vrooming. Her abilities only improve from there leading to you flying all over the screen when you try to go fast, and it just feels great. I kinda hope the current events don't get changed too much, just fleshed out a bit more, but if they must be changed then it's fine. Regardless of community perception of the endings, I hope that you're happy with the game, because you did great. I look forward to speedrunning it. UPDATE 5/29/2023: I TAKE IT ALL BACK THE NEW ENDINGS ARE HYPE

  Very interesting little game, went in expecting Neko-Ribi. The feeling is there partially but the game stands out on its own and is definitely worth playing at the current price. Moving around feels very fun but the combat is lacking and has some very broken interactions even the average player will accidentally stumble upon. The english translation is also VERY rough, to the point where it feels like edited machine translation at times but it still has its charm and didn't find it immersion breaking the way it was happening. And last but not least, the ost in this game is straight up just amazing, pretty much carries the entire game.

  This game is the definition of dont judge a book by his cover! This game looks cute, simple or perhaps even childish? These are things u could easily mistake on what the game is about. But this game can give u a ton of difficulty regardless of his looks and the story doesnt seem that cute and friendly anymore the further u get into the game. This is not directly a spoiler but the game gets dark especially with the different endings the game has to offer. Nyaruru Fishy Fight is a classic 2D Metroidvania game in which u explore, fight, and earn coins to buy things to get stronger. The Exploration is quite exciting and u get intodruced by various puzzle mechanics that u need to slove with movement, attacks and even with the enemies. The different areas are well made and are always different from another. The MOVEMENT and COMBAT is extremely fluid, smooth and fast paced which compliments the many boss fights u will encounter and sets a surprisingly high skill ceiling, u can parry attacks but it needs to be a precise timing that really takes some skill. U unlock different attacks and moves the further u progress into the game. These are also needed for completing some unreachable areas or puzzles (secrets). The unlockable attacks are not necessary for beating bosses but some attacks are clearly stronger and more often used than the others (Its next to impossible to miss these anyway, so no worries). The difficulty is really no joke despite how the game looks. I played the game on the "hard" difficulty which effects the boss battles significantly, when u have no idea about the boss, the game doesnt hold back. Either u figure out the boss quickly enough or u die 10 times in just under 3 minutes. U will die alot and this difficulty is hard and frustrating but still fairly doable. With the various attacks it almost feels like u are doing combos which gets very satisfying. About the BOSSES All bosses are different and have different mechanics and patterns. The game offers many bosses and these trick u into believing its just all random encounters until u take it serious after a few deaths (The boss encounters can throw u off guard especially on a high difficulty). Very fun fights overall. U learn how to find the best openings to attack and most optimal ways to deal damage so its not just dodge, attack, dodge, attack because they wont wait for ur turn. Its possible to cheese some boss attacks to deal more damage than usual but u need to figure it out first to even perform such "tactics". Because its a Metroidvania, a big part is the exploration. When u want to get more upgrades u need to explore the areas more precisely, u dont need to 100% explore and loot up the areas to progress or beat the game but its certainly a fun thing to do. There are Items u can find or buy with coins that help u with fighting or even give u a new mechanic entirely which is a very great touch! The biggest part and enjoyment for me was the MUSIC: The music fits the areas, battles and cutscenes very well. My favourite soundtracks occur in the late parts of the game. The progression from cute, funny and even goofy music to very serious high orchestra like music the further u get into the game is a very great detail for me that fits the lore and story good. In the main menu u have a "music box" option to listen into these tracks! Some all time bangers are Lianne, Nyakori P1/P2, Theia, Projection and Lilys Destiny (These are names that occur in the story but arent spoilers) and there are more quite emotional soundtracks which I very like that take place in some of the endings. There are more which I really enjoyed listening to while playing which I wont list all here. Last part is the STORY and LORE (no spoilers) The reason why im talking about it now is because how well the game handles it! The game doesnt start with text walls or hidden secret messages. The story just starts very simple and u can easily keep track of it. The game knows that u will spend time exploring and overall learning more about the game before u get invested into the story. I like how the game gives the vibes that its supposed to be a innocent and cute experience at first but progressively gets darker. The game lets u experience the gameplay first and then the story that I really appreaciate alot. Its very easy to keep track of it so u get the experience to its fullest imo. EXTRA! When finishing ur first playthrough with Ending 3, U will unlock the Boss Rush mode and a even higher difficulty which changes the bosses by a big chunk. It adds extra difficulty and therefore a very challenging experience. Its also one of the achievements of the game, so good luck with that! RECOMMENDING? If u are looking for a difficult, fast paced and exploration game that also at the same time intodruces u to the Metroidvania genre with great soundtrack and art, then I highly recommend spending the 7 bucks to try it out. Great and difficult game!
