  It is not that bad, but I can't recommend F.I.L.F. for the following reasons: 1. Overpriced for what it is, maybe worth $6.99 if on sale 2. Should be listed as early access, as it is not complete yet 3. When I purchase a visual novel, I expect the grammar and spelling to be perfect, they should hire an editor like me for help 4. The story is linear with no true choices 5. You can't manually change all the characters names and their relationship to main character 6. The story is poor at best, with no plot 7. No replay value If you are looking for a good visual novel in this genre, I would recommend the following available on Steam instead: Acting Lessons; City of Broken Dreamers; Depraved Awakenings; Love Seasons; Sisterly Lust; and Sylphine

[/list] [h1] Questions you might have if you're interested in playing it: [/h1] [list] [*][b]What is it exactly that you do in the game?[/b] Like in most NSFW visual novels you click on stuff, read dialogue, make decisions over random choices that can sometimes pop-out on the screen, explore locations and chat with NPCs in order to progress the story… and obviously you watch NSFW short videos and slideshows. [*][b] Will it make my eyes bleed?[/b] It's average. The models and the backgrounds are nothing special. The textures are fine and the animations are well animated but way too short. [*][b]Does it have a good story?[/b] Even for NSFW game standards it’s underwhelming, not bad, just very bare bones. I have to admit that the humor of the game didn’t click with me, it felt cheap. The good thing is that a story is not really a “must have” in NSFW games. [*][b]Does it have a good soundtrack?[/b] It's fine. It’s quite catchy but I won’t say that it is “great”. There are multiple routes for each character that you can romance in-game for what I had seen there are no multiple endings. You can do everything that the game offers you in a single run. Your enjoyment of this game is going to depend on your tolerance for click and point trappings and how hot you think the NSFW parts of the game are. [/list] [h1] So what is FILF?[/h1] [list] It’s one of the visual novels where you have to explore multiple locations, gather money, wait for the correct NPC to be in the right place and at the right time to progress their story. This is not a bad thing but I have to admit that it creeps me out how the game allows you to go to the house of a woman that you barely meet, go inside their house uninvited, lay down in her tub and masturbate thinking of her. I’m not into that and if you are into that, more power to you. FILF offers you plenty of nudity and thigh outfits to “entice you”, but be aware that the actual sex scenes are locked behind relatively long and kind of convoluted quest for each character. [/list] [h1] Is this game worth my hard earned money?[/h1] [list] If you like this style of game and you really like the models that this game shows in the preview on steam, you are going to enjoy this game.   Always liked this game since it first showed up around the web. It has been dead for quite some time but with this new Steam release i hope it will turn a new leaf and increase production again. But knowing the dev is also busy with another more complex game.... i can't say it looks hopeful. But i love everything about this game really outside of the seemingly random feeling solution of story arcs. The arcs require you to come to a specific point with another arc before it unlocks the ability to progress the character you would want to make progress on. But the renders is decent but could be better, story and theme is a stock standard as it gets but its good and enjoyable fun.

  Okay, let’s get this out of the way. We all know what the “ILF” stands for. Well, the “F” does not stand for female or friend. It stands for family. The main love interests are you mother, sister, aunt, and cousin. You shouldn’t get your hopes too high for this one, either. The models are a few years old or so. Gameplay is similar to other games of this fashion, where you have to do certain events to unlock more. That said, if you can get past the taboo subject matter, you may enjoy this. It does seem unfinished, at the moment, though.

  Synopsis

  F.I.L.F. is a RenPy adventure visual novel.

  Gameplay

  The F in F.I.L.F. in this case refers to Friends, not Father. The story seems to have originally been written as a son coming home from college to stay with his mother and sister. His aunt and cousin also live in town. However, in order to make the title acceptable to Steam most of the relationships were changed to friend, which when I was reading reminded me of the 50s style comrade that the Russians were portrayed as talking. You will come across parts of the story were the original text wasn't properly cleaned up. Melissa is written as your mother, Samantha as your sister, Aubrey as your aunt and Courtney as your cousin. Not all of the references are scrubbed. About an hour in Naomi mentions that Melissa is your mom. The dumbest one is referring to Courtney as our Courtney, multiple times in the story. You start off by setting the name of your character. This is your normal adventure visual novel areas of interest are marked and you need to complete various tasks to unlock various actions. This game is still not complete, despite not being released as early access. The end comes abruptly. You can still continue playing to unlock the scenes you haven't seen yet.

  The Gallery

  The Galleries are accessed from the computer in your bedroom. There are scene galleries, represented by the film reel, where you can replay the scenes you have unlocked. There is also a photo gallery, the cameral icon on your computer, these are the hidden photos that you can find.

  Final Verdict

  I'm torn on this game. The images are good and plentiful, but the story pulls you out. If you take each scene on its own it is decent, but not as a whole.
