  If you've played the old Duck Life's, you'll come to love this new one. I went into this game assuming they butchered the hell out of the concept, but I was humbly surprised that they actually made it feel like the old games with new twists and new mini games. They have put the old concept of leveling up your duck and made it so when you want to progress and race or battle other ducks you have to go back and keep leveling up until you can beat them (which is very rewarding once you do). Instead of just moving on to the next stage like in the old games, you actually just progress through the map and just keep exploring and finding new training to max out and new shops that you can buy hats, clothes, weapons, and items that can make you even stronger. There's also little side quests that ducks will have you do and you can accomplish them pretty easily you just got to explore a little or buy a thing or two. The money system is pretty nice i'd recommend not buying a lot of things in the beginning, because as you defeat ducks the game will already give you some free stuff so just buy things as needed. The different colors, unique hair styles, and the cute eyes that your duck can have is very nostalgic and were definitely needed to rightfully call this game Duck Life. I would 100% recommend this game to anyone who used to play Duck Life, and wanted to reminisce about the old times, or play a game where you can explore a map, level up, dress your duck in cute outfits, go on quests, and defeat enemy ducks and win prizes. I look forward to new updates and/or new games from these developers. Two thumbs up!

  Because of this game. Flash games are overrated. Just play mobile games not the flash games. I don't think flash games are that good unlike mobile games. I recommend this game a lot!

  The new addition to Duck Life is the best one yet, featuring awesome UI and animations, fun minigames, and the ability to both race and battle. I haven't played that much yet, but so far it is SUPER fun.

  This most recent addition to the Duck Life series is fantastic. It truly builds upon the classic Duck Life flash games without losing what it once was. It's great fun training your duck with fun minigames, and then racing and battling them. There's plenty of different games to level up your skills, and each one gets more interesting every 10 levels. What's more, is that each of the 8 skills have two games - one for the first 50 levels, and another for the second 50! The game has a wonderful little island that you get to explore, meeting other ducks and racing or battling them to progress. While there's no achievements as of release, the entire game gives you that same sense of completion and satisfaction that you would get with achievements (just without the bragging rights). Once you've beaten the game, there's plenty to continue doing to progress. There's an arcade where you can play all of the minigames again, and all of their varients. There's an arena, where you can battle and race other ducks as well as other players! I would recommend if someone wants a nice relaxing game.

  Before this game released, I decided to replay and complete every Duck Life Game 1-7 so I could better compare this game to it's predecessors. I can without a doubt say this is the best Duck Life of the bunch, not because is does anything extraordinarily well, but does so much right. To start, the world is so much more expansive, it feels like I'm actually exploring an open world, not just traveling from region to region. In addition, the weapons are much more balanced in comparison to Battle, and battles feel more fun Battling is mostly unchanged from the last game, but they added critical hits, which was a fun addition. They also brought back races, and you're more involved in the races than ever. You can use up a bit of energy for a boost, which was something they already had in Space, but a welcomed return. You can also use items in races to either benefit your duck or bring a disadvantage to the other racers. I never needed to use any items, but they were a nice touch. Also the minigames were fairly enjoyable. They only had 16 this time around, so less than Battle's 25, but you could argue that they actually had 80 minigames, because for each of the minigames, they have 5 different versions in which something in the game changes, whether it be making it harder by adding spike balls or something, or making it easier by giving you a helmet. However, the game has a fair share of shortcomings that annoyed me throughout my playthrough. To start, racing is just so bad. It feels like your ducks are racing on ice with butter taped to their feet and that both of their legs are completely numb. The ducks fall over A LOT. I don't think I made it a single race without my duck tripping over nothing. Every time you jump: Fall afterwards. Every time you fall: Fall afterwards. Every time you Climb: Fall Afterwards. I thought the constant falling was just because of a lower skill level but no, after getting every stat to 100 I still constantly fell over. It might not seem bad, but sometimes you fall in a way that sets you behind, like turning over and landing on your head, because you have to wait for your duck to get back on its feet -- So slow, not much slower they could go -- and if a different ducks lands on its feet, they're gonna get a lead on you, even if you have the higher stats. It makes racing feel unfair and poorly implemented. Also, a few times I got stuck in a race, usually either in water or while trying to climb a wall, which is either a weird bug or a huge error in the way the tracks were made, but since it just released, I'll say its just a bug and move on from it. Another big issue I had were the amount of loading screens I had to sit through. I was fine with them at first, they weren't too bad and gave helpful tips about how the game worked, like how coins worked, or battle tips, but as I kept progressing in the game, they showed up more and more with the same tips I've seen like 20 times. When I'm nearing the final showdown, I don't need to be reminded once again about what a Jelly Coin is. Not to mention it takes a good little while for the loading screen to go away. It's only like 5-7 seconds, which isn't too bad, but it adds up, especially when you have to sit through two loading screens just to battle one duck. The Economy was also very poorly implemented. After getting level 100 in every skill, I had about 130 gold coins (the most valuable currency). The cost for the most expensive costume was 20 gold coins (10 for each piece) and for the most expensive weapon was 10 gold coins. I collected so many coins that affording the best possible items was a joke. Lastly, leveling up was ungodly slow. For about each minigame in the entire game, I'd average about 2 levels per round. Since there are 8 stats which each level up to 100, so assuming I keep up the past of 2 levels per round, I had to do 400 rounds of minigames, some of which were pretty long. This game took me a solid 9 hours to beat, but not because of a lot of extra content, but because of how ungodly long it took to level up. And this made the minigames feel tedious really fast. Yes they changed up every 10 levels, but more often than not the changes were completely minor. It felt like those old NES RPGs where the game itself was short but to beef up the play time they require a lot of grinding. A few other problems I had were the boring and repetitive sidequests, the terrible story (I know they all have terrible stories, but this one just felt extra poorly made, especially for a $5 game) with the laughably bad attempt at what I think was a plot twist at the end, and this one random duck named Dory who served no purpose in the game other than to bug me at the start. Despite the games numerous shortcomings, I'd still absolutely recommend this game. If you're a fan of the duck life series, you'll love this game, its the most in depth entry yet. Not to mention there's so much I liked about the game that I won't list so I don't spoil the entire game in a single review. Unlike Battle and Space, this game felt like it fully deserved its $5 price tag, and is the first Duck Life game that made sense as a paid game. So if you're debating whether or not you want to try it out, c'mon, it's $5, just buy it. #mallardgang

  I would recommend to anyone who played these games as a kid. This is a very fun game, but just so you know it does not save your progress so do with that as you will.
