  I would hold off on playing this until the developers clean it up a bit. It is chalk full of lag, glitches, an inoperative in-game menu, and many other issues. TheMeatly, it would be in your best interest to fix this up so you don’t lose the hype. (Edit: Although it says I have played for 0 hours, I have tested the level and it is in need of some serious maintenance.)

  Recommending players avoid Chapter Four for the moment. Many people are reporting numerous graphical/loading/gameplay bugs, and I personally cannot even play the game at all now because it crashes immediately after attempting to launch from library. Will certainly come back and redo this review once all the problems have been ironed out.

  By FAR the best chapter of Bendy and the Ink Machine so far. Now before I start reviewing I'll mention Chapters 1-3 were also reworked with this chapter being launched, there's some HUGE new stuff in Chapters 1 & 2 especially, so I recommend playing those before chapter 4. Chapter 3 doesn't have as much new in it, but did streamline the fetch quest a bit to be less tedious, so that's nice. Chapter 3 I liked, but frankly had some big issues with said fetch-questing and tedium of going back and forth. Chapter 4 however reaches a new mark for Bendy ; taking place in Bendy Land, a sorta' underground theme park, you now go between a few surprising and varied scenarios, including a couple boss fights, some theme park attractions, and some surprising signs of our character slowly losing his mind. I don't want to spoil too much, but this chapter is frankly better design, better paced, more surprising and engaging than the previous episodes, with more going on in the gameplay department and locations to keep things interesting. The previous episodes got a big boost in sound design and lighting with this update, and this shines through in Chapter 4 to create an actually tense at times atmosphere. There's some great art design on some of the new horrors of the chapter (reminding me a bit of scrapped concepts of Epic Mickey)... If you liked Bendy at all in the past, or had issues with the actual gameplay of Bendy, this is the best that Bendy and the Ink Machine has been by a large margin and is worth playing if you're a horror fan. I will be honest, the improvements and reworks to Chapters 1 & 2 plus Chapter 4 as a new high mark has made Bendy from something I thought was 'alright' and 'decently enjoyable if not rough', into something I'm not actively excited for the next episode for. That's how good this episode and the improvements are. Definitely recommended.

  MAC OS High Sierra I also experiencing the same issue that "harfouchepeter" have playing in my Mac, which is that when you esk your mouse disapears and you cannot sellect anything from the game menu, it comes back if you change tabs. Also it's pretty laggy too, making the response too slow for the agility of the game. But the grafic is amazing and everything is much much scarier than the other ones... You feel like its getting darker and darker, creepier and creepier. I'm going to try it again on my windows laptop and I'll post a review. I think after some bug fixing this game will be better. So you should wait a little more to buy it. WINDOWS 10 Pro Today I played it on my Alienware. Sometimes the menu also makes your cursor disapear. (sorry, spoyler alert) During the spinning carts ride part, we couldn't finish it at all, from the start, it is bellow the floor level, so after a lot of effort, we could brake 2 of the screws, but then the remaining 2 got stuck IN THE FLOOR, making impossible to reach them,only one moves and the other one remains freezed, stuck in the floor. Again. The best is to wait a bit more, the grafics and the ambient is amazing but, the bugs are still taking the best of it. I still recommend it because this episode is amazing. - After a while the bugs were all fixed and we could play the game normally. Now It's 100% tumbs up!

  [list] [*]With new chapter come new updates to Bendy. Previous chapters include some new sections (one new achievement for chapter 2) and the game has been optimised. Modifications to chapter 3 are a hit and miss: the Ink Demon is not as annoying as it was - it certainly doesn't get stuck anywhere but it rarely appears as we go about with our errands. The Butcher Gang, on the other hand, is way more difficult to deal with. [*]Due to the updates it is highly recommended that all chapters be replayed once more. In terms of length the latest chapter is not as long as its predecessor. [*]I do not really want to elaborate as it would be a spoiler but let's just say we now have boss battles. The environment during these sections can be destroyed almost completely. It's nice to see the physics effects in motion. [*]The game starts out rather casually (reminiscent of chapter 1) then things get gradually more action-oriented. Overall, Bendy still offers an interesting story and considering the twist at the end I am even more curious as to how the developers wish to end the story. [/list]

  If you have already invested your time in Chapters 1-3 you are going to want to play Chapter 4. Am I crazy about the artwork? Absolutely! Voice Acting, brilliant. Jump Scares, not nearly enough in the later chapters. As you venture into Chapter 3-5 you see the Dev's are clearly fans of the OutLast, Resident Evil and Alien Isolation games. So many, I feel, unnecessary scenes involving, locker hiding(AI), the sudden introduction of insane Ink Men banging their heads on walls muttering in a corner (Outlast)...the story quickly gets away from me. I don't know what to focus on. The Angel story, for me, isn't strong enough to hold as much of the content as it is. All I can focus on now is how much it is Outlast 2 + RE7 in a Bendy skin! I don't want to spoil too much, but Horror game fans will notice these references right away. The boss battle mechanics are difficult to master and feel more like time fillers as opposed to fun encounters. Even though, I am going to recommend this Chapter to all the Bendy fans. I am ultimately disappointed. This game has jam packed in, too many unnecessary elements. And I think the story line has suffered because of it.

  Another excellent chapter that delivers variety in its challenges, exciting boss fights, and satisfying scares. It respects the players time more than the previous chapter did, getting right to the meatiest bits without feeling drawn out or rushed, though it may be less scary for most players.
