  I am playing this game in Chinese using English Windows 10 and everything works fine and well. I had a wonderful time, and have been playing non-stop for the last 5 days. The game is so immersive that it is hard to stop. What I love about this game is a preponderance of quests. Many of the quests are event / location based. When you are at a specific location, or talking to a specific person, and event will be triggered which advance the quest to the next stage. However, it is also possible to miss certain side quests. Some side quests might be disabled before/after you reach certain stages of the main quests. This is the tricky part as I have missed a few quests during my first playthrough. Currently I am nearing the ending stages of my first playthrough and I am taking down notes of the various events. This game is interesting enough for me to do a second playthrough, where I will try to learn all the ultimate skills, get all the ultimate weapons and armor and do all the possible sidequests. I know this is not going to be easy; however this game certainly is fun enough for me to try. Currently this game is not available in English yet and you have to understand Chinese in order to play this game. I have about 10+ Chinese games on steam, and I highly recommend this particular game to anyone who can read Chinese and love RPGs.

  Shorter than current English-available CRPG on Steam but packs with good (and expected) CRPG's elements like fancy, eye-pleasing attacks, good story and not too obnoxious protagonist. English translation is much better than Tale of Wuxia series imo. Oh and it runs rather smooth on my toaster computer (on highest setting no less). But Here are things I dislike: the difficulty spike at the beginning. Maybe I'm just bad and stupid but I ran into 2 wolves and barely get out alive; no auto-saves. I'm spoiled by auto-save games...; a bit grindy if you want your base to look like a 5 stars hotel. And I would love to see more side-quests which involve the playable characters more. Overall it's a great game for such a price. Definitely, recommend! PS: please bring more of your games to Steam, devs!

  This is honestly a great game. I'm a native English speaker and I wish more games like this would get an English translation even though there were a few grammatical errors and funny misspellings, I could always get the main gist of whatever conversation I was reading. The combat has flashy moves which fit each playable character well and the main story was gripping although a bit short but there are a lot of side quests to keep you busy anyway. Overall I'm gonna keep an eye out for any future releases from this Developer and just hope that an English translation comes along with it.

  Wow, this game totally exceeded my expectation. First thing first, let me thank the developer from translating this game, it allows non-chinese like me to enjoy the game. This game is, imho, easily the best chinese language game on Steam. Considering there's not that many non-rpgmaker jrpg on PC, this is highly recommended for people who like traditional jrpg and chinese artstyle. I give this a solid 8.5/10. + pretty hand drawn graphics. Overall it has really good graphics for a $13 brand new game. + nice combat animation. + relatively bug free. Haven't encountered one yet. + can save anywhere. + no random combat, you can see them and avoid encounters. + decent story so far. + feels clean and not cluttered unlike that Chinese paladin game. + solid turn based jrpg combat, no real time nonsense. + branching side quests. Choices that affects the story. + high production value for its price tag. - terrible translations, but still understandable. - some typos. - limited amount of skills. - limited amount of customization, just equipments and not skill. - rather simple mechanics. - can't rotate camera, stuck in top down isometric view. - rather short compared to other chinese or japanese rpgs or lengthy crpg like divinity. Would definitely buy the developer's next game.

  遊戲還可以，但玩法可沒說明，必需靠直覺來硬幢。遊戲裡的提示不是很明確，有己次我得亂猜才能看找到尋求的目標。遊戲難度還可以接受，遊戲比起上個月侠客风云传前传好玩多了。故事和畫風我覺得廷有意識的，遊戲有個缺點哪就是你沒能用方向指南來轉視線角度邊的有時後難於觸摸此地要採摘的東西或材料。 雖然我不是中國人或外地華僑民族，但如果是武俠遊戲我還是廷支持不管是從中國的也好還是台灣的我都不再意，最終如果遊戲的劇情可以給到我像有金庸或古龍小说的感覺和想像，我二話不說就會收集起來。 所以我的結論是可以支持本遊戲。

  A bit above average RPG in classical Final Fantasy Combat. Worth the money in terms of entertainment, but definatly could be better. Reminds me a bit of Suikoden as well as you get a mansion that you can upgrade, but overall the game is good but not great. In addition to this the translation seems to lose some of the essence of the meaning, so it could definatly have gotten a bit more work in that area. But you will not regret this purchase if you are a real RPG fan. Compeared to Tales of Wuxia this falls short in many areas, but it is definatly much easier game. You are far more of a super hero in Tales of Hongyuan and you will only meet real challanges if you attempt to go to places you are not prepared for. But as Tales of Wuxia has Romance, multiple endings and a better translation I suggest you get that game first. Overall I give this title a 6 of 10 score, meaning worth the money but only for die hard fans of RPG games.

  First of all, the translation is just horrible. It's worse than Tale of Wuxia. The awful UI provides little to no information about items, quests, etc in a very messy and inefficient way. You at least get many quests, but almost all of them are simple reiterations of running around and killing monsters. You get to make choices at times, but for what reason, I have no idea, because they don't seem to have any consequences. The story isn't that bad, but it's not a good one either. You'll find both the characters and plot very banal at best. I do not recommend this game.

  I loved it, this game have a lot of things that i really wish more games implemented, like a quick sell option and auto battle, there's also a house system where you can upgrade your house to unlock cool stuff (You can see "Home" by pressing Esc to open the menu), there are very useful upgrades showing enemies / chests in the mini map and refine your weapons, and many other useful buffs that will help you a LOT in battles. The story is fine and the characters are nice, the combat is very challenging and you will have a hard time if you don't equip yourself well, you should follow the walkthrough the game gives you and try to do all sidequests you can because you can get some very good and unique equipment in these, there's even a sidequest that gives you an accessory that increases your movement speed in the map by 50%, the name is 'Face to the past'. Pro tip, if you're playing in window mode and want to alt+tab while having your team in auto battle, you can click on the window of the game instead of alt+tab and your game won't pause. Also, your auto battle repeats the last action you did, so if you want to grind, just have everyone doing AOE attacks and press Q. 10/10 game, challenging with tons of sidequest, just the way i like it.
