  It's an H game so make sure to download the patch you degens. Not sure why there are people writing entire essays complaining about the lackluster gameplay; you don't play it for genre-defining gameplay you dingus. The gameplay is very simple, yes, but that way you're able to focus on the main element of the game that I know you're all playing it for. The CGs and voice acting are great, and the pixel animations are of excellent quality! Good stuff as usual Dieselmine. My only complaint is that there's an issue with the two automaton animations in the official patch, as they seem to be mixed around and don't function properly. A fix for that would be a good idea.

  Requires a patch for the Adult Scenes, which is probably the only main draw it has. It's free, however. Three to four hours of content, if you don't rush it. As a game though, it falls painfully short of feeling fulfilling. For example, it gives you a tutorial on using your lantern, which you lose before you actually get into any real danger, and never use again. For the potential of a stealth based game using items, wit, and intelligence, where the consequences are a lewd end, it fails to actually meet that expectation I had, going in. What it does, it does it well enough, however, especially for RPG Maker. The scenes and animations are really where the majority of the effort went, I think. Without the patch, I dare say you got ripped off. A lot of content there too, more so than the actual game. Although sometimes it does get a little.. Weird. Even with what you'd probably expect from Japan, if you're playing this. Don't you lie to me, we're all men (or women, not discriminating) of 'culture' here. Story is kind of.. Basic, though, and I swear, it just ends out of nowhere, so abruptly, and with such a lacklustre moment, it was just downright jarring. I had to do a triple take, just to figure out if that's how it's supposed to have ended. It just kind of does, with nothing about Lan's fate afterwards. Or that kid you were looking for, this entire time. Yeah, I forgot too. Doesn't try to build up characters much, or as to why everything is the way it is, which is probably the real disappointment for me, personally. Get it on a sale. Use the patch. I feel like £12 is steep for just a few hours of gameplay. It has clear effort, but arguably not enough where it might've mattered most. Worth a try though if you get the chance, and if you're a fellow degenerate. ...Seriously though, how is Lan going to explain his outfit to the rest of the Village when he gets back?

  This game fails on every single level except for its artwork. That's the short version of this review. Plenty of other reviews have made this same point in varying levels of hyperbole, but that is the truth of it, and it's downright depressing that they wasted so much good artwork and a great H-game premise. Succubus Farm is exactly what it says in the title. A farm run by succubi to milk energy from men that they kidnap, and Lan (the character you play as) is one of their latest victims. I can't tell you much about Lan beyond his name though, because he barely has two lines of dialogue outside the standard H-scene moaning and whimpering. Ultimately, your goal is to escape from the farm while avoiding the farm bosses and minions they employ. There isn't much to say about the gameplay, and while it's a tired meme that no one plays these games for the gameplay, even by incredibly low H-game standards this game is lacking. Enemies have vision cones, you work to stand outside them and run around their patterns. Or don't. You have enough life and stamina to power through basically every section that isn't an 'instant loss' zone with ease, and at the end when they just decide to give the succubi random patterns it's basically unavoidable. The problem I have with the gameplay isn't the ease or the simplicity, it's that there's nothing to find in this 'stealth' game. There's nowhere to explore, no secrets to uncover, or anything interesting to look at. In a game like this, you would think they'd put some scenes in an out of the way place off the beaten path or let you listen in on a conversation or two, but every area in this game is depressingly linear and every scene is not only clearly marked in the game world, but slammed right into your path, making missing anything an impossibility. The place where Succubus Farm drops the ball the worst, however, is with its narrative. For all their incredible artwork, barely any of these succubi have more character than Lan himself. The only times you ever really see these succubi converse is in their H-scenes. The game itself is rather devoid of contextualizing dialogue leaving you with questions such as, "Are succubi in this world supposed to be a myth, or are they normal?" and, "What time period are we in, exactly?" and "Why in the hell did they have a dedicated 'item' key when you use literally one item in the entire game and it's in the tutorial?" There's a beautiful H-game premise here. Succubi banding together to use their collective abilities to streamline the process of getting their meals and servants. The succubus version of a WalMart with managers, unruly employees, and politics between the different bosses with Lan caught in the middle. Unfortunately, there's nothing. You run from one section of the game to the next, avoid everything, maybe peek into the H-scene doors for a brief scene, and eventually bring the game to a whimpering end where you get tossed in the trash and discarded back into the forest you started in with a message saying, "You won't be able to come back here even if you want to now." That's right, they don't even have an H-scene 'good' ending of some kind, nor do you have any impact on the state of the farm itself. A few final notes. First, the total playtime of this game is about three hours, and that's including watching all of the 'bad endings'. Second, don't play this game without the H-patch available for free on Kagura Games website, otherwise you'll be getting less than nothing for your purchase. Third, there are snuff scenes involving energy drain and absorption. They're bloodless, but they're there. Lastly, the last area in the game has some monsters straight out of your nightmares. Just a heads up.

  I was playing Bloodstained when I got a notification this had been released. I really, really, really didn't want to play this one. Based on the trailer, it looked like a gender-swapped Phantom Theif Celianna. I didn't like Phantom Thief Celianna, not because the gameplay, art or H-content was bad but because it was short and refused to build on the initial gameplay loop. I was worried that this game would be exactly the same but decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and try it anyways. Unfortunately my fears that that this would be Phantom Theif Celianna again ended up being justified. Welcome to femdom Phantom Theif Celianna. [h1]Story[/h1] There isn't really a story here. Essentially, you play an extremely effeminate, small penised ( average according to in-game dialogue ), shota-looking shopkeeper...? who goes into the forest late at night to help a girl search for her missing brother. Upon getting there your lantern goes out and you end up slightly lost. Slightly lost turns into kidnapped by succubi and you end up in a stable dressed in full leather and restrained wherein you learn that succubi have been kidnapping men and using them to start their own sperm bank. You somehow manage to break out of your restraints ( sort of, your arms are still tied ) and must escape before you're turned into a 'bull'. What bothers me most is that the missing brother appears to have also been kidnapped by the succubus based on discarded clothing you find but the game just sort of forgets about that portion of the story and hopes you do too as it's never brought up again and at no point do you make any effort to find him while trying to escape the farm. Sorry unnamed girl, your brother is a permanent donor to the semen bank of succubi now. [h1]Gameplay[/h1] If you've played Phantom Theif Celianna then you already know what the gameplay is like. For those that haven't, the game consists of a series of rooms where the goal is to make it to the next room without being spotted. If you're spotted then you have to run and hide and if you're caught then you have to button mash the Z key to try to escape. If you fail to escape and your captor makes you cum then you lose one of your five hearts. If you lose all five hearts you get a gameover which consists of a CG. The gameplay doesn't really change or become harder as you progress. They do introduce obstacles in the form of a mysterious pink liquid that shoots out of pipes that are lining the floor for some reason, but the navigational puzzles are dead simple so it doesn't do much to add to the game outside of being a minor inconvenience in your mad rush from room A to room B. The largest departure from this formula comes in the form of chase sequences you have with the succubus that runs the area you're currently in. It's still a game of running from point A to point B but this time if you're caught it's an instant gameover. I don't much like these sections as they either end up being a guessing game of which direction you should go or are just a matter of walking down a hallway faster than the succubus chasing you. The succubi move extraordinarily slow during these portions of the game and are easily outpaced with a brisk walk. The gameplay is the weakest portion of this game, right next to the story. [h1]Art[/h1] The art in this game is alright. You have the CGs which are static images with the expressions/fluids changing as the scene progresses. In addition to that you have the animated scenes that occur when you're caught. The CGs aren't all that impressive but the animations are extremely detailed and really well done, though some of them can be a bit confusing to look at as they try to pack too much into a single scene. One example of this is after getting caught ( again ) you're taken to a lab and allowed to make another escape attempt. If you're caught by the succubi in this area you get a scene where there is anywhere from 2-4 clones of the succubus that caught you and they are all doing something different and/or appearing and disappearing. It was a bit difficult to decipher what I was looking at and in some cases it wasn't even necessary for there to be that many on screen. The large breasted succubus is a good example of this. She's giving you a boob-job and then out of nowhere a clone of herself materializes, taps the side of your character with her boob, then disappears. Why? That said, I did like these animations for the most part. It also looks like they made their own assets for the environments and sprites so props for not asset flipping. [h1]UI/QoL[/h1] Everything here is good. The UI looks alright, you can load without quitting to the menu, the screen is resizable and you're given save stations every room. There isn't much in the way of QoL features needed outside of that due to the simplicity of the game. All of that said, the game has a bad habit of freezing during the animated scenes. It doesn't appear to be optimized that well and suffers from a few bugs, one of which caused the succubi in the area to start walking into one another in a narrow hallway leading to the next room. They refused to course-correct or move out of the way and ended up just standing there staring at each other. This made it impossible to get to the end of the level without getting caught. [h1]Conclusion[/h1] There isn't much here to like or talk about. The gameplay isn't engaging as it's dead simple and doesn't evolve throughout the course of the game. The story is non-existent and certain plot-points that would have made for a more interesting and complete story are completely forgotten about as soon as you get to the farm. In addition to that it's extremely short. You can beat this game in 30 minutes and the ending comes out of nowhere and isn't satisfying at all. The only part of this game I enjoyed were the animations you get when you're caught. I wouldn't recommend this at the $14 price point as the game takes less than an hour to complete and lacks content. If it drops into the $1-2 range then I'd recommend picking it up but as it stands this feels like a free-to-play flash game that's had an insane price slapped onto it.
