  I love management games like this game, Shining Song Starnova: Idol Empire. I'm no expert on how to actually run an idol agency but i'm sure this would be the simplified iteration of how the idol industry operates. To that I say, Fantastic Job! Developers of Shining Song Starnova! Overall I enjoyed the story and mechanics of the game so I would be recommending this game. Now for the Pros and Cons.

  Cons:

  - Pop Up notifications sometimes obstructs your view on what's going on. You can still interact but just cant see it for a brief moment until the pop up notification that appears in the middle of the screen disappears. - It will be difficult for anybody who isn't familiar with management games to get into. Frankly I found the gameplay to be difficult and i'm only playing on normal difficulty. - There's very little convenience to this management simulator. Most is manually operated (Point and click). Compared to the more recent management simulator games out there.

  Pros:

  - There's actually a long fleshed out story in this game. Witty and funny too. - Challenging, Highly addicting - Each idol doesn't feel like a filler. They actually have their individual strengths and weaknesses to be explored and used to your advantage in getting to the top - The game mechanics is fun and doesn't feel repetitive even though you will be doing them alot. Not only will the A.I. project how you trained them but you also have a way to help out the A.I. so you won't be watching from the sidelines - Achievements are fun to do and highly recommended as it helps your gameplay along the way. Meaning the more achivements you get the easier your game gets (but its never too easy just less hard lol) - It's voice acted with very good voice acting - Nothing feels useless. Extra notes: If you're looking for a management simulator game. I would recommend this to you. But if you're looking for some fast, action packed or Rhythm game like game then I wouldn't recommend Shining Song Starnova: Idol Empire. It definitely not everybody's cup of tea. But for me I really enjoyed the long hours of playing this game. Should you pick this up for yourself I hope you do so as well.

  10/10 Would stack up the number of fans for handshake events as early as possible and get your idol's fame up before you operate the handshake events for maximum profit

  A good management game. Helps to have played the related visual novel for emotional connections to the idols, but still a good experience for people who haven't. There are several difficulty levels, as well as four different play modes. One mode has a story & twenty individual varied challenges, one mode is basically a free play mode, one where you have to win an increasingly-difficult idol performance challenge every ten in-game days, and one where the idols grow older & can retire & can be replaced. My favorite was the story mode because I really like the characters. Of course, the story is nowhere near as in-depth as the visual novel, but was still interesting and fun to play. The events don't proceed the same as the visual novel, so both games are their own thing in terms of the story. Outside of the difficulty levels, the difficulty curve is a bit different from most games. A lot of the difficulty early on comes from learning about how to benefit from specific idols, specific rooms that can be constructed, specific furniture that can be added, and what order to best do things in for your personal playstyle. For me, that meant that the game generally became a lot easier the more I played it. The challenges in the game got more difficult in all the modes except free play, but it became easier to achieve them. Things that would have been daunting at the beginning became trivial to do later on solely because of experience. There is definitely a lot of flexibility in how the players approach the game and the challenges. I basically never built 1/4 of the possible rooms, and often didn't build another 1/4 of the possible rooms. But I was still able to complete everything and get all the achievements. Most were normal - accomplish a certain thing, play to a certain part in the game, etc. But about 1/3 of the achievements were just time-consuming, not difficult - like play for 100 days with various specific idols as the center. Those were all pretty boring to get - I would get them by setting the game to its highest speed (still not super fast) and just passing time to get them. The art is fantastic and the instrumental music starts out good but gets repetitious after a while. It is too bad the game couldn't have the great vocal music from the visual novel - that would have made for a much better experience. I only experienced an occasional technical issue where a non-idol character got stuck moving. I was generally able to solve it by deleting the associated piece of furniture and then re-adding it. But there isn't any kind of notice that anything has gone wrong other than happening to visually notice whatever is stuck. Overall, fun for management game fans, fun for people who want to run an entertainment company, very good for people who enjoyed the visual novel & wanted more time with the characters. I hope we get another game featuring the characters in some fashion.

  at first i didnt really understand the gsame so i didnt play it for a while but i decided to give it another cvhance and boy-- its addicting! im very happy with this game

  They have sense added Auto features into the game which is way better now. So it's good to see the Devs are listening. Still waiting to see what they will add to make it more lively with the Idols in the game. I will give it a recommend with the Auto features been added in but still needs more work.

  When one Idol is constantly stuck in Yandere mode and you can't get her out of it, and whenever you put her in the break room she just walks out and goes back into that same mode.... and when another is constantly angry and refusing to do anything you tell her to do, even if it means making her happy... then yes, you have a serious flaw with the game. I wanted really hard to like this one cause I'm really into games like this, but the Idols themselves just ruined what could have been an exciting and fun game.

  [h1] <-- Review written for [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/35180752/] 3 Point Play [/url] --> [/h1] Shining Song Starnova: Idol Empire shouldn't really be played if you haven't played Shining Song Starnova, otherwise, it has at least half of the appeal if you haven't done so, because, well, it has the same characters!!! (and this one, being a business management game, and not a VN, doesn't explain who these girls are or what their story is, think of it like an analogue to Sunrider: Academy and the main Sunrider series) It's a really, really fun game, but kinda hard to play, specially if you don't have experience with these kind of games (business sims) it's also very charming, specially, if you have played SSS. Even when not doing objectives, I found myself staring at those little sprites doing their things, money well spent I'd say. The graphics are cutesy and serviceable, the sprites have that amazing Love in Space style we all know and love, but for those who don't know, they feature really emotive faces and high quality expressions. The songs are amazing as well. It does reuse some assets from the previous installment, but that would be pretty obvious when it comes to a second installment. You can also get a Sunrider Girls DLC for some extra dollars. All in all, it's a pretty game, and these devs are worth supporting!

  Honestly Shining Song Starnova: Idol Empire offers so much for the low price it's asking, compared to similar games. I could sit here and list pros and cons but I don't see the reason. If you love Love in Space, the previous Shining Song game or management games in general, this game should be right in your alley.

  If you are like me and enjoy improving the stats of virtual avatars because your crippling fear of failure prevents you from doing the same in real life, you'll probably enjoy this game. At least up until the point where the sum total of your mistakes brings everything you worked hard for crashing down around you, leaving you wondering where you went wrong and why you even tried in the first place. .... I mean, cool waifu game yeah!
