  My parents were proud of me. After I bought this game, they were even more proud that they started crying with tears of joy. My mother even thanked god by asking god why I turned out like this and what did she do to deserve a child like me. Would play again. 10/10

  [h1]The girls are on it again![/h1] Ah yes... Senran Kagura (SK). I fell in love with the series, the moment the "first" game got ported to PC back in 2016 ("Shinovi Versus"). But Shinovi Versus isn't actually the first game! It is the second one! SENRAN KAGURA Burst Re:Newal is the true remake of the very first SK game. So if you want to get into the franchise, this is where you have to start! [b]Story[/b] "No File ... Bro ... It is a game about big busty girls, that can go nude. The jiggle physics is even way off. Dafuq you need a story?" Well. Listen! The game is all about two hidden Ninja schools in modern Japan. One of them is a school for good shinobis and one is for bad shinobis. If you can't figure it out by now, yes they do fight against eachother. Sounds like your average boring cliche anime right? Wrong! At first it looks like that, but the story turns out to be much more interesting and deep at some point. The girls in the game all have different personalities and background stories. You will get to know each of them better and better the more you progress. The interactions between the girls are also really cute. I had a lot of fun reading through all the text during the VN style sections between the missions. It is what it is. It is told in a Visual Novel style way. Here you will get all the informations you need and it is worth to read through all of them! When the game now finally starts, you get presented with a button masher ala "Dynasty Warriors". Most of the time you face hordes of enemies you have to cut down to progress. The best part is still the 1 vs 1 mode, when you face one of the enemy girls. Here you won't have a fun time just mashing buttons. There are combos in this game. A mix of heavy and light attacks. You need to use those sometimes to break through the enemy defense. A dodge button and a parry button helps you in dangerous situations as well. And yes, the parry button is real. Blocking in the right moment, you can pull out a really good and powerful counter attack. But be careful! Your enemy can do the same! It is a really simple game at first, but it has its challengeing moments! The best part is propably the transformation sequence. Your character will get stronger and gets even more combos and special attacks. They also turn nude for a few seconds ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). It is something you have to experience on your own. Did I mentioned that this game contains "Clothing Damage". The more you get hurt, or the enemy, the more naked you get. Pro-tip: Finishing off your enemy with a special attack make them totally get rid of their clothes (underwear included). After a mission you get rewards, money and skill points! Your girls automatically level up after each mission and become stronger the more you play them! And yes ... You can also change the underwear. I tell you there are enough options. This combined with "Tear off the clothing during a fight" makes it more spicy. [strike]And did I mention ... There are mods. Combine the "No Panty" mod with skirts and there you go.[/strike] I need a hobby......... [b]Conclusion[/b] Game is super fun to play. The fanservice might annoy some people at some point, but the story at all is worth it! And like I said: If you want to start with the "SK" franchise, this one should your starting point. The story continues in "Shinovi Versus".   Senran Kagura Series

  This is the remake of the first game of the series, where it all began. The major point of this series is the Bouncing Boobs and the Dressing Room where you can change clothes and pose the girls as you like.

  Story

  It is not the major point of the game, there is no massive dialogues or anything like that. Its just to introduce the girls and their personalities.

  Combat

  One of the best part of the game, its not focused on the story but rather in combat, very fun to play. Dynamic combat, its not turn based. And this is where you colect acessories and clothes for the dressing room.

  NSFW

  More than i was expecting but nothing explicity, everything is censored but its not bad.

  Characters

  There is a lot of characters to play, even if the story is short, there is a lot of characters with different combat techniques. (Kagura from the DLC is the most OP)

  Dressing Room

  Here you can change clothes, poses, faces, the major point of the game.

  Thank you for porting Burst Re:Newal to PC! Releasing at the same date as the west console is a nice gesture (though we also got the delay). Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal is remake of the original SK Burst for 3DS, focusing on Hanzo and old Hebijo. -Steam version is untouched.(Intimacy mode is still intact.) -Graphic wise, Burst Re:Newal is more good-looking than previous games but impacts on higher requirement spec(I can run Estival Versus 60fps on my laptop but hovering around 30-40 with Burst Re:Newal) -Art evolution; artwork gets meatier, also shown on his other work (Evenicle 2) -Dynamic main hub is a nice touch, responding to your current story playthrough -This is the 5th SK game on PC and I still have to manually change from integrated graphic to nvidia gpu. This happens since the first SK game so expect the next one will follow. -Some minor bug, like narrative dialogue goes full auto mode: can not be stopped, voices get skipped all the time, the only way to read the text you missed is by bringing up text log by pressing Up. Expect a hotfix very soon. -We only have Yumi as additional character for now, the 12 others more likely to be added later. SKBR:N is focusing on (actual) plot and improved a lot compared to previous game. Can't wait for 7EVEN for PC!
