There is not enough content in this game for the price they're asking. Everything about it is average and done much better by other titles in the smut genre. The story is laughably cliche' and very poorly translated. The best part of the H-content is the voice acting, but that too is very average and cliche'. Get this game at a deep discount if you must, but do not pay full price for it.

UPDATE REVIEW: Yeah.. It's getting better and yet still not full filling. I truly wish for a major update. Initial Impression: Do you like it? Yes (Especially the new waivus) The Critic: Well, First of all, I bought this game because Jerez's Arena I was interesting and awesome. The First series truly simple game, interesting story and less complicated battle mechanism than Jerez's Arena II. -The Second series of Jerez's Arena only brings a minor upgrade or maybe i should say, decent upgrade. Now it brings a good voice acting from Japanese VA, WOW H-CG, lovely waifu, and better UI. And that's it. I was hoping for an animated spirites, 3D animation in combat or when you on preparation to Arena and playful waifu reaction when you click the waifu on preparation stage, I will change the review later if the game is better or at least bring a major upgrade. Hopefully, The dev will hear what the consumer says.

If you played the first game before, you'll probably appreciate this game. The basic concept and gameplay are more or less the same. You get two girls. Raise their stats through either training/conditioning and send them on quests. A few differences to note. The facility upgrade system has been vastly simplified. There is no rest/meditation action. Some energy and mental recovery after every day though. Another significant difference is that quests cost AP to perform and have a fixed variety, meaning they aren't RNG dependent like in the first game. Like in the first game, sex-relevant quests grant more money. However, the catch is that raising sex-related skills lowers combat skills and vice-versa. Now for the combat. The combat system in the old game can be barely called a combat system. Just press a skill name, hope it deals more damage than the other skills and repeat until your TP meter is fully charged and you dish out a super powered ultimate attack. But in this game, the combat system has been overhauled significantly, requiring actual strategy to overcome. For starters, information on the enemy you have to battle next in the arena is told 9 days in advance as well as their overall combat style, giving you time to boost ideal stats and optimize skills. Yes, in this game, you can customize your character skills. And I don't mean like 3 or 4 skills. There are like 20 different skills for each heroine that are unlocked by training them and you have to choose 5 to equip for a battle and 1 or 2 passive skills as well. Combat is much harder in this game. Heck, I took 7 tries to beat the final boss in the arena because jesus christ, they were tough. But on the brightside, she was a hot succubus and seeing some yuri action definitely beats.... the usual ugly bastards. Oh, I should also add that unlike the first game where each heroine is set to fight one specific enemy, in the second game, you can choose which heroine will battle the opponent. Outside of arena battles, one of the quests will lead to you battling a random NPC enemy. These battles reward you with bonus stat upgrades and extra gold and give you a way to test out character builds which is neat. Storywise, I'd say its somewhat better than the first game, though that isn't saying much. First game never had much of a story. Just a former-noble slave gladiator/prostitute trying to fight for her freedom while you, her sadistic slave master helps/hinders her journey, depending on your actions. Jerez's Arena 2 takes place a few years after the first game. Heck, the main character and one of the heroines from the first game make an few appearances and get a fair bit of screentime. I found the story much better than the first one though its still very barebones overall. The art used in the h-scenes also improved which is great. Also, unlike the first game, there are no unavoidable r*pe/prostitution scenes. If you're gunning for the True Ending first, like me, you can dodge every h-scene that doesn't include the MC. They still happen, just off-screen. I do have two points of criticism though. One, there are two h-scenes between the MC and the blond girl in the TE route but zero h-scenes between the MC and the Oni, excluding the final scene with both heroines. Kinda miffed about this imbalance. Also, there are a number of grammatical and spelling errors. And the translator apparently thinks the word 'badasses' means criminals or fugitives or something. Overall, the game feels like it was proof read by someone who doesn't speak English as their first language. I personally tolerate such errors but they will stick out if you're picky about grammar in the text. And to be honest, the game is kinda overpriced. I'd still play it because I'm weird but I'd definitely only get it on a discount. I'm only recommending this game because I more or less knew what I was getting into when buying this game. But if whatever I just said doesn't sound good to you, well. So be it.

Don't get me wrong, the drawings are fantastic and the voice acting isn't bad; however, there is a lot of bad. The price does not match the amount of content you get. $25 dollars for maybe 3 hours of gameplay. The dialogue is riddles with poor translations and grammatical errors; this wouldn't be a big deal usually but they are so bad it makes some of the dialogue confusing and hard to understand. The story is slopped together; rather than giving it a nice pace, giving the characters time to develop together, you're given a rushed story that really just isn't satisfying. The end is especially atrocious. You beat the arena and are rewarded with a half assed-sex scene of Lowen and whatever character you beat the final boss with. Sure there were some hints of romantic interest throughout the game, but again because the story was so rushed, the romance just feels haphazard and middle-school level. I did enjoy the combat system in this. It was minimal but still somewhat fun. Again, as with the story, the combat too just feels like minimal effort that just needed more fleshing out. This game would be worth $10 dollars. Get it on sale, but don't buy it full priced.

No new game plus mode in this game..... So i'm leaving negative review. Yeah I'm not about to relv all the character stats all over again when a simple NG+ option could have been implemented.

Amazing illustration. good enough gameplay. However, as a person who has played the first one and was very looking forward to its sequel, I am a bit disappointed with it. In terms of gameplay, it is too similar to the previous one and more innovations are needed. The game is titled Arena. However, the arena elements are seemingly too weak and too many CGs are put toward the romantic side. I would suggest putting more emphasis on fighting style when duelling different enemies. If a fighting style is selected wrongly, the duel will be extremely difficult to win. It can be achieved by adding effects (for example, increase evasion/ Sure-hit/ magic damage) to the ability. Or you may consider going back to the first sequel, making the duel like storytelling and training the character only allows the player to have more errors. If options are selected incorrectly, the main character is destined to lose no matter how many stats she has. It will allow for more interaction and more sudden events during the fight so that every duel will not be the same (For example, she chooses incorrectly and fails to dodge an attack and limits the choice she can make in the next round.) (What if a dex based character is grabbed by a giant when selecting incorrectly) Players will be interested to replay the duel when there are more possibilities to happen in a fight. Also, being able to win without too many stats also allow sudden events to happen such as a forced duel, fighting bandits etc so that the gameplay won't be "Training -> Fighting -> Training". Secondly, on the CGs size. I noticed that romantic CGs to defeat CGs is 1:1. Personally, I love defeat CGs. As a title titled Arena, I would love to see more about the duel. I want more fights and more ways to win or to be defeated. I would suggest only having 1 main female character so that the personality and connection with the main character can be stronger. There can also be storylines interacting with the enemy to let you learn about him so that it is beneficial to fight him in the arena and so that the enemy is more memorable. The defeat CGs are, in my opinion, too similar. The CGs have to be based on the character of the enemy. If the enemy is brutal, he will go hardcore. If the enemy uses poison in the fight, he will use poison in the scene either to make her suffer or feel pleasure. I also want to see a many-to-many duel in the arena in which she has to fight multiple enemies to win. (Of course, there will be CG accompanying it) The defeat CGs in sequel 2 is too similar no matter what the enemies you fight, which is kind of disappointing. I would love to see more variety of CGs
