  I really liked this game! I cannot express in words this atmosphere, these sounds, these graphics, these feelings. Here I plunged into the period of the knights to the maximum. I'm happy I found this game!

  This game is absolutely suitable for lovers of sharp swords who like to fight with them from a third person, gameplay - 10/10, textures - 10/10, I would also like to note the democratic price, it seems to me that this game should cost much more !! !!

  Even if I ignored all the weird writing, the gameplay is very boring and simple. There seems to be one enemy type with a beeline AI and nothing else. The map is mostly empty and nothing is interactable. Just avoid this. https://youtu.be/EGrJPv3Drqs

  Absolutely loved the spectacular third-person sword fights in six stylized game locations with procedurally generated worlds to an amazing soundtrack! I recommend playing this game!

  Firelight Fantasy: Vengeance as a whole is quite an exciting game. Feel like a skilled swordsman of the Middle Ages, take part in exciting sword fights, enjoy beautiful graphics and addictive gameplay in this game.

  The environments are pretty cool and the combat is ok for a small developer. (Edit: They didn't even bother building the first map with the modular assets they used. They just used the demo map.) I was expecting the AI to just run at and circle around the player and do just 1 attack, but I appreciate how the AI could do its basic attack and jump at the player, as well as guard. However, there definitely needs to be a way for the player to heal themselves. It took me forever to get past the first level because it was a little difficult and there were chests around that I thought would give a healing potion or something but the chests just seem to be there for decoration. I'd prefer something that's really easy but allows me to see everything instead of just frustratingly difficult. It is also a little weird that the enemies use glowing axes instead of a realistic looking weapon like the player has. The second level has you "defeat an enemy in the control zone" and I assumed the control zone was one small section with a glowing fireball above it but that didn't seem to do anything. So either that's a bug or it just needs better direction there. There also doesn't seem to be a way to get your sword and shield on that mission. But overall I like how the objective for that level was different than the first. I do appreciate that there is a story here. At the start of each level there's a cutscene that pans around the map as story dialogue is displayed. However, the writing definitely needs work. The punctuation isn't grammatically correct and there's a really inconsistent method from differentiating who is speaking, what they're doing, and what they're saying so it made it difficult to understand but I think I got the gist of it. I also couldn't understand how the story related to the gameplay. The story seemed to be about an affair in the royalty and the king was questioning whether or not to kill the person that had an affair with the queen, however in the gameplay you're a soldier fighting some other soldiers. The music in this game is really good and I think that if the developers just added a way to heal in the game, maybe changed the appearence of the enemies's weapons, fixed the punctuation in the story, and fixed some bugs or at least provided some cleared direction in the second level (haven't played the others so can't comment there) then this would be pretty enjoyable for a low-budget game.

  The plot is based on Scandinavian mythology. Colorful characters and a well-developed game world, which by the way is procedurally generated, which brings variety.
