About the Game

Enjoy getting 'legless' with friends?

Well, now you can cut each other's arms and legs off as you've always dreamed!

Unlike 'proper' games, Endless Knight lets you continue to fight even after you have become separated from your limbs. Sadly the game does not permit the battle to continue after your friends actual death, for 'technical' reasons.

Murdered and humiliated all your friends?

That's okay, it happens to us all. Lucky for you, Endless Knight also features a not entirely 'tacked-on' single player experience, complete with an absurd story and songs!

Slaughtered your way through the wonderfully crafted story mode?

Take on the challenging but probably not impossible 'Final Fifty' mode for the ultimate climax of murderous satisfaction. Mmmmmmm.

Completed 'Final Fifty'?

Oh no, that's pretty much all there is.

The mechanics of Endless Knight are different from what you’d find in most fighting games. There are no combos or 'special moves'. The focus is on reaction based blocking, as failure to block will have dire consequences.

Due to this alternative focus, Endless Knight might take a few minutes to adapt to, but we hope that once you get the gist, you will love it as much as we do!

Played alone or with friends, mastering Endless Knight can be jolly good fun!

It's a pretty simple and straight forward game: you pick a knight (out of 6 + an unlockable extra), choose their armour colour (white, black, gold, pink, purple, green etc), enter a tourney and just chop 'til you drop. Literally. Yeah. Unlike most fighting games focused on duels, Endless Knight doesn't end with a mutilated character bleeding to death. Much like the Black Knight from Monty Python, nobody dies from severed limbs. Watch your head, though. Losing it = instant death. The game offers three game modes: story, survival (unlocked by beating story on insane, which is not THAT hard but can be annoying af when you get to face AI with "turtle-like" behaviour) and local multiplayer + plenty of fun options to choose from such as playing speed, the ability to switch the regular claymores for Star Wars' lightsabers and even a, much welcome, first person view. Story mode offers a series of eight levels with five opponents each (got killed by the last one, though? Back to the first) with plenty of neat arenas such as deserts (both hot and cold), taverns, dungeons, castle gardens and even an (empty) colosseum. To beat survival you need to kill 50 knights in a row and, at the time of this review, I only managed to kill 12. The highlight of the game is, however, the bard that tags along with your player character. He knows only one melody but his rhymes are pretty based.

Awesome fighting game. Lop off arms and legs. Dance around like the black knight from Monty Python. The SONGS. I love the bard songs. Great! https://youtu.be/R7BipqmibJE

It's kinda fun, but I don't think it's *quite* worth the price. Especially since there's no way to rebind controls, and the default controls on the controller are kinda wack (in order to block downwards, you need to press block and right/left depending on which way you are facing, instead of pressing block and down, which would make more sense)
