  Requires an ability to be able to form coherent thoughts in order to solve puzzles. Also, you may find yourself humping several things by attempting to make your character climb up a wall and such... What? You ever tried it? It's fun! (According to guys *nod*) The question you should be asking yourself... Do you really want to put ice and fire together? I just wanted to fly on that dragon... But he was like "nope"... EH! OH and yeah, you can play this game by yourself. What are friends, right? Keep, keep, keep GOING!

  Beautiful and challenging in interesting ways. So far very intuitive without any hand-holding. Have begun by playing single-player on keyboard, but the game should be even better playing with someone else. Amazing music, and very good atmosphere.

  I spent some time on the couch with my partner this morning playing this charming co-op game. The fire and ice mechanic creates clever puzzles that you really have to work together to solve and we've been having fun working through them together. The story by Chris Avellone (Fallout: New Vegas, Pillars of Eternity) that narrates your journey through the game creates a peaceful and encouraging atmosphere, although there are hints of melancholy as well. The steam page says the game only has partial controller support, and there was a message when we started the game saying we'd need to configure a steam controller, but I just hit a button on a controller and they worked perfectly with no config necessary. We are playing through steam link using both an xbox 360 and ps4 controller.

  This is a rewarding couch co-op experience. It feels great to puzzle things out together. A more delicate story and picture-book aesthetics, along with simple controls, makes it approachable even for people who don't play many games (so you might have an easier time convincing your partner to sit down and play with you).

  my friend and I are about halfway through the game, but: the gameplay is great! the game surprises with interesting mechanics that are a lot of fun; it's an excellent co-op experience! we both have a lot of fun figuring things out (and occasionally messing with each other :P) the level design is overall great, and the collectibles are fun to collect. the graphics are pretty good, overall, however the animations on the main characters feels... incomplete? unpolished? I'm trash at animation work, myself, so I can't blame the devs too hard, but especially considering the quality of the rest of the art, the wonky animations really stood out to me. that being said, I did get used to it after a while, and stopped noticing their weird gaits, and the awkward way they climb up walls :P something we never got used to, however, was the writing. the narrator repeatedly explaining, in slightly-round-about ways, how the two characters felt about each other was so terrible to listen to, my friend and I both agreed that muting the narrator would make our lives better. we were right :P I do appreciate that the mechanics and the story are trying to play together, however, and I was trying to think of how I'd improve the writing. my first thought was that maybe having the characters express these feelings themselves - and not in a beating-you-over-the-head-with-it way, but in a natural way, through short bits of dialog - would have been better... but I'm only slightly better at writing than I am at animating, so maybe don't listen to me :P ANYWAY: all that being said, the game is very good, overall! again: the mechanics are interesting, and wonderfully unique. the level design is great. it's fun to solve puzzles, and collect collectibles. it's a good game. I recommend it; I just also recommend muting the angsty-teen narrator :P

  The good : + Amazing graphic + OK soundtrack + Local co-op + Unique gameplay mechanism The bad : - Very frustrating single-player experience The ugly : * Mediocre story with mediocre character development * Some puzzle either too easy or too hard to solve * No map / quest progress which could confuse some player If you're into co-op game and don't mind mediocre story/character, you'll love this game. But [b]avoid[/b] this game if you're gonna play it solo or expect amazing story/character.

  Disclaimer: I bought this game for like 1.2$ during Valentine Day sale. I played this game in full co-op with my wife, from start to finish. I don't try the single player mode. For the amount of money I pay, this game is very worth it. Introduction: This is a 2D puzzle platformer side-scrolling game. I find the idea behind this game to be creative. You play this game as 2 players living in different worlds. The girl lives in summer (heat) world. The boy lives in winter (cold) world. Wherever you go, you bring the element of your world to your surroundings. As a result, the screen is constantly split in half, dynamically following the players' movement. Gameplay: You must cooperate together to move through the game world, and collecting scarfs along the way. Each scarf is its own sandbox puzzle forcing you to think together how to get the scarf. You position yourselves and manipulate the environment to solve the puzzle, for example: Lake is frozen in the boy's world but liquid in the girl's world, there's air vent shooting gust of air in the girls' world which will stop in the boy's world, etc. You will get new abilities specific to each world, preventing things to go stale. Graphics: The environments are generally very pretty, especially the transition effect between summer & winter. The characters, however, are not so good. Animations feel stiff and floaty. Since this is an indie game, I don't mind much. At least the environments are nice. The Bad Side: - Many puzzles requires precise platforming, but the controls are not tight enough to do so. In many occasions, I feel like the control is getting in the way. This is especially more frustrating to my wife who's not a hardcore gamer. I prefer the puzzles to lean more on logical thinking, rather than platforming ability. - The way to track the scarf collection progress is really bad. There's no number stating how many scarf are missing, and instead you get sort of minimap with collected scarf as white dot and uncollected scarf as black dot. The contrast with background is really bad, I'm sure it will not pass accessibility test. - When you quit and resume, you spawn in the castle (hub world) instead of the last position when you quit.
