  The timing of this campaign is very unfortunate. The Russians are the good guys and we're supposed to root for them as they're committing atrocities in the real world. Trying to overlook that, the actual "plot" of this campaign is very difficult to follow. The briefing page before each mission is filled with a wall of text and the in-game radio dialog is very quiet and hard to pay attention to while flying. The voice acting ranges from passable to terrible, and the worst of the bunch is one of the main characters, so buckle in for that. As far as the actual flying goes, this campaign never asks much more of you than "fly here, land, fly back" and never challenges you as a pilot. It's not terrible, but it's the worst of the paid Huey campaigns and there are several free campaigns that are better. I can't recommend.

  Overall an enjoyable campaign; pilot skill required is mostly basic/low but has plenty of story-telling elements and locations that emphasize immersion. Might make this campaign ideal for learning/practicing these helicopters especially since missions are short (25-35 mins). Copilot -- A nice break from the other campaigns, the copilot actually manages the radios for you while you're flying as well as giving you clear directions/headings/instructions at each step. You merely have to operate the bird mostly. Piloting skill competency -- Most is basic transport, but sometimes the weapons or other toys come out, but little is generally asked of you even in those moments. Hardest task seemed to be a strict hover at a radio tower, but there's a scripted trigger that passes that if you're not hitting the target. Mission context -- there's much more intrigue here than most campaigns; the covert aspect of a Russian PMC that is barely separated from the actual RF military supporting an Iranian faction very much in the style an alternate Syria situation is certainly grounded in some real world considerations that gives this campaign some immersion. Some elements are fantastical but fit in this story. Downside may be that there are some missions that are simply 'show and tell' with heavy dialogue and very little complex flying asked of you. Though voice acting and script is always a hit or miss with these kind of properties, the chronological layout of the story, characters, and intrigue was certainly enough to make me motivated to keep playing, even if a mission was simple.

  Voice acting is pure garbage. Your a Russian? Fly here, land, fly there, land...mix of units, instructions, accents.... User made campaign's are better. Save your hard earned money...

  I'll start off by saying, I've only played a couple missions into this campaign. So with saying that, the validity of my review on this campaign might not up to par. I'll start off by saying that my biggest complaint is how long the mission descriptions/briefings are. Not only that, when I'm reading the mission briefs it feels like I'm studying multiple pages for an exam to get my doctorate as a nuclear physicist. I really don't care about radiation levels like "1000 µSv/h to 10 million µSv/h" I just want a clear & cut mission picture of where I need to fly the damn helicopter, blow something up with the damn helicopter and then land the damn helicopter. I would recommend the DLC "Paradise Lost" or "UN Pilot" if you just want to learn the nuts & bolts of helicopter piloting over this one.
