  [h1]Ero Souls[/h1] [i]At time of writing, an [u]uncensoring patch is NOT needed[/u] as far as I can tell. No content seems to be cut from this version of the game.[/i] [b][u]Game Is:[/u][/b] Ero 2D top-down dungeon-crawling RPG with strong souls-like influence. [hr][/hr] [b][u]Positive/Negative Thoughts[/u][/b] + The character art is quite good, what few characters there are have unique and appealing designs. + The H-scenes are nice, they won't amaze you but they are pretty enjoyable. It's also a relief that a lot of these scenes aren't bound to losses so it lessens having to purposely lose to view this content. + The souls-like progression keeps things interesting by allowing you to choose which stats to prioritize and ensures you're always progressing from a run. +/- The real-time action combat is a nice departure from the usual turn-based affair of these types of games but the grid-like movement still makes it feel pretty clunky. +/- The dungeon-crawling is decent, the enemies don't have all that much mechanical difference but the bosses will have a trick or two to keep things interesting. However, the maps are fixed and not procedural-generated which means you will be walking through the exact same bland arenas for every run. [hr][/hr] [b][u]In Summary:[/u][/b] The game can be a bit clunky but the H-content is pretty enjoyable and it puts considerably more effort into it's gameplay then most of it's peers. [hr][/hr] [b][u]Tips[/u][/b] > Press F11 to toggle Fullscreen. > At time of writing, there doesn't seem to be official controller support. Recommend using a community steam Controller Configuration for this game, or just making your own. This feature can be accessed on the game's steam Launch page.

  As it stands, Dark of Chroe is a decent game, be it with a single flaw of cheese. It's artwork is attracting, for a 2d souls like h-game. it's fun. its got good aspects.

  Game Length: 2 Hours + 3/5 Story: Average 3/5 Gameplay: Average 5/5 Art: Good. Uncensored. 5/5 Grand Total: Has potential! Needs more content! 7.5/10 I really liked this game, gameplay is very clunky at first but when you master the WSAD movement and kiting enemies it truly shows you how fun this game can be, oh and powers from trinkets was very RPG esthetics very fun and likeable! Game was really short, combat was interesting until I found out about the bug. I'm not sure if it was intentional but it definitely can be a good thing if the game was frustrating for players. It makes for player leniancy and better access of CG gallery. Story was pretty mediocre. Buy now or later, not missing too much, can definitely do on a sale! Definitely recommend for CG hunters!

  Really fun and entertaining. The H is not easy to access although its quality is nice, but the gameplay is good enough to make this game worth the purchase. The OST is also very nice. I just found a bug in which a stat that's increased gets reset to the original level, made me waste a lot of souls.

  Gameplay design is pretty good however it is extremely short, and once you know the mechanics of the game, kinda disappointing because I really like the RPG style. basically you kill bosses to buy some CG and scene from an NPC, no impactful story whatsoever. After you collect them all (I finished it in under 1 and half hour, I basically can refund the game) there's not much reason to go for more battling the same 3 bosses over and over. Art is great, it is the only final saving grace I have with the game. I recommend only buying this on discount.

  Only three levels, and for some reason one of the scenes is locked behind not seeing any of the OTHER scenes. A nice hint to find out after the fact.

  It might have looked like that this is like black train's two games that are released on steam but this is just not the thing. There's barely any erotic element weaved into gameplay, not to mention that the gameplay is so unenjoyable even after using cheatengine. It's punishing uninnovative bullshit. This game would have served better as a CG collection instead of a game.
