  Let's be clear: mileage may vary on some individual items. Honest suggestion is to read the three DLC pages individually (Excess, Through the Ashes, Mightnight Isles) and decide if you want all three. If so, this is good. Many of the complaints you see here - for instance, Through the Ashes being a short side story - are, bluntly, failures to read descriptions of either the Season Pass or individual DLC. Personally, I think it's worth it, especially if you're an optimizer. Inevitable Excess is built for the min/maxers who use mods to make things even more difficult, or play on the original brutal unfair difficulty. There's some story and worldbuilding there, but word of warning, encounters are build around more optimal builds and Mythic Rank 10. This is the DLC to get more time at max mythic, and it's balanced with that in mind. Through the Ashes is nice from a pure story and world perspective. It's the story of people not the Commander, and caught up with mythic destiny. You get that if you like lore, worldbuilding, and storytelling. Season two will have a continuation, which makes sense given that Through The Ashes was telling a very particular part of story. Midnight Isles is a roguelike that can be done in game or separate. Whether or not you use it to break main game progression is, quite literally, up to you as a player.

  Not sure what what Rando2988 is going on about, but the listing for this DLC seems pretty clear unless this was added afterwards. "Get access to the three *upcoming* DLCs and save on purchasing them individually." All in all the game so far has been pretty solid really. I prefer creating my own characters and going through a random dungeon senerio like kingmaker had the ability to do, so I'm willing to wait for this *upcoming* DLC and have the majority of my fun with this game then.

  I love the base game, but these three DLCs... Inevitable Excess Through the Ashes The Treasure of the Midnight Isles I only had fun with Through the Ashes and would not want to buy other two at all. And even Through the Ashes was way over priced from how little content it added. I will not buy another season pass from Owlcat ever again.

  Liked Pathfinder Kingmaker, Wrath of the Righteous is a huge step up. The magic weapons and class abilities seem a hell of a lot more refined. If you like Baldur's Gate and Pillars, you'll love it!

  Would be nice to know from the start that this is season pass ONE. It would also be nice to know that at least one of the DLC's included (Trhough the Ashes) would not have its story condluded and isntead we would have to also buy the second season pass ( or at least the DLC's related to it ) Finally the first 2 DLC that were released so far were really underwelming, not only in size ( nowhere near description) but also in content. Lets hope the third one will be an exception.

  Imagine buying the season pass for a game you don't know you're going to enjoy. And then getting mad at the developers for Steam's refund policy/automated system because they didn't personally monitor reviews and contact you, even though you literally did get refunded once you got a person to look at it. Thanks for the warning, I guess. As for the actual content, I recommend this dlc because just the thought of playing it in the future is worth the price. /s
