  Endless Waves Survival is a simple yet remarkably addicting game. At the price of $1(US) and on sale for 40% off it is very easy on the wallet. It is fun and I do recommend it. The game automatically shoots for you (up to all 7 spells at once) As you kill enemies, you level up and can improve one of 7 different offensive spells or a spell of shield for defense. You collect coins that can upgrade items (ring of regeneration, bracer of damage, magnet) or buy potions (healing, damage, cooldown,) and more. The good news: Inexpensive. Easy to learn. Gamepad or Keyboard, the game is very easy to play with either. Works well on the steamdeck. Works well on native linux (Mint 20.3 - AMD graphics) In Early Access (So hopefully "The Bad" will be fixed) The Bad: The waves do get monotonous after a while. The later waves do not seem to get harder at all. As you max out your spells and items, the game gets easier; to the point that when you are maxed you can let the game run and you will not die. You only need to worry about the occasional centipede and even for that you barely need to move.

  A cute little attempt, but it ultimately fails. No meta upgrades, nothing is saved, no new characters. The game is simple, and fun enough as a base, but it just falls flat. It's easy enough to get through, and the only "challenge" is how to avoid the inevitable "wall" of mobs, that not only grows in toughness of mobs, but also in how many walls show up. The rest of the game is secondary to this mechanic. It just feels cheap when lazy mechanics like this ultimately end up being the only thing ending a run. Principally refunded, even though it's a cheap game. Keep working on it; add the stuff that's obviously missing, and polish what's already there. Might pick it up again if it gets better. Right now it's a hard pass for me, 3/10.

  This COULD be a good game if it had some depth and difficulty added. I got bored REAL fast as the game is far too easy and doesn't once challenge you. I unlocked everything in my first and only run. I even stepped away to get food and such and came back still going in the game. This game has potential but it needs a lot. Game is super cheap much like other games in the genre but still can't recommend as you'll only run it once and never touch again. Lacks what the others in the genre have that make it fun and addicting.

  I think it has many options in terms of cards/abilities and characters. Most of the time I've played it's been really cathartic, though the skeletons annoy me lol. So ye, my experience has been really good so far. I'm looking forward to more updates in the future! I recommend it if you want something fun that doesn't require a high-end PC :) <3
