  I like the pixel graphic look of this game. It is a restaurant management game, where you hire/level up staff, create/level up menu items from found ingredients and expand the number of locations, size, and look of your store. It is very relaxing game, I never feel pressured or stressed. Very play at your own pace. It is a nice way to pass the time or decompress.

  I got a strong love for Kairosoft games, and I picked this one up because I used to have it on mobile and remembered struggling with it, so when I saw it on sale I thought I'd give it another try. Long story short, nope. This game is, simply put, not great. I screwed up my first play through by hiring one of the celebrity chefs. No big deal, the game says. Stick the worker in your break room and you won't have to pay their salary for the time they're not used. The game tells you this because they know how quickly an expensive employee can break your game. But the 2-3 years (in game) that it took to realize and fix the problem basically kneecapped my first play through, which took 20ish hours. So, no big deal. Try again, right? Well, problem: If you finish the 16 years in a play through, all of the levels that you gave your employees carry over. So, all those minor employees you can hire for 4,000Y in your first play through now cost like 20kY to hire. Every year in game is now like you overpaid a celebrity chef... you spend all year saving just to pay the employees (or recover from negative by doing so) which hampers your ability to spend money doing discovery, which means fewer tables/equipment, which means slower growth. If you're clever, you can break through either of these problems -eventually-, but it totally destroys the game flow. Add to this the inscrutable dish development system where even with the most highly trained chefs and perfect ingredients you're going to struggle just to add enough points to a dish to bring it up to E or D grade before the end of the game, and you've got a real slog on your hands. If you dig into the wiki, and really learn about how to develop dishes (you need to pay attention to the scatter chart and use ingredients even if they say bad or doubtful), you can do kind of OK, but I think even the best players will find it difficult to get everything on a single play through, and that leaves new players without the will to really get into the minutiae of these spreadsheet games up shit's creek without a paddle. TL;DR: If you play any other Kairosoft games you know what you're getting in to, but this game is really badly balanced, and the amount of time required to develop a really good score is stupid.
