  Bone's Cafe is an experience similar to Overcooked, but also entirely different. You play as Bones, a former (?) necromancer who has dreams of bread and salad, not of corpses and knives. But they cannot escape their former occupation and the cheery cafe experience very quickly takes a darker turn. This game is remarkably complete (for lack of a better word) for being in early access. While I have not progressed too far yet, I have encountered no bugs. I have tested out the co-op option with at least one other person and experienced no gameplay issues, and I look forward to testing with more friends. The music is laid back and chill, and the animations are charming and well done. While there can be some tense moments due to the clock or *ahem* other situations, overall I found the gameplay loop to be surprisingly relaxing. The only negatives I've encountered thus far is that this game is really meant to be played with a controller. The keyboard controls are difficult to get used to and while I found them un-intuitive, I'm honestly not sure that there are better options. I would appreciate the ability to re-bind keyboard controls so players could at least tinker with other options. I am looking forward to continuing to play this game, and to the additions that the developers will make in the future! Overall - it is worth the price and is definitely a game that you should pick up and try!

  Honestly adorable and so much fun. Programming workers for you to do exactly as you say is ingenious and really pushes the bounds of player creativity. I am always worried with couch co-op cooking games that they basically REQUIRE you to have at least one other person to play with, but this game is still a blast solo. Hope to see a few quality of life changes to include keyboard keybind customization, saving worker tasks so you do not have to repeat them every day, and maybe an option to view a more in-depth recipe card (some require multiple tools at different stages and it can get confusing with how the recipes are presented). Edit: At this point, it looks like all of my concerns have been addressed. Do yourself a favor and buy this game!

  "WHERES THE DANG FRIES" "CAN I GET AN ONION" "WE NEED SOMEONE ON FRYERS" "MOVE" "HOW DID THAT SKELETON BURN THE CHIPS" this game is really fun and very cute, whether it be solo with all your skeleton workers, a duo's cafe, or with four friends who are all ready to take a lunch rush head-on what it offers in Early Access is insanely commendable and I cannot wait for what it has in store after official release because this game is a lovely work of art

  A very pleasant chaotic mess. That's how to describe it. I always liked the type of "Diner Dash" games, Overcooked kind of scratched that itch but it's not chill enough, it requires an other person. It's good, but stressing. What if you wanted an "Overcooked" type of game with more control? Bone's Cafe gives you exactly that. You can make it chill, or a chaotic mess. Start cheap, get big and hide your Cafe's murderous intent. Automate your minions in an effective way you just don't lose a combo, or call your nephew to help you handle all the damn clients pestering you. On the topic of automating your minions, what a great, and fun, mechanic. You just gotta think ahead to not make a mess out of a mess. You can always fix it, but figuring the path Minion's path and understanding the recipes complexity IS fun. I don't know how I found this game, but it was really worthy. If you're on the fence, don't get discouraged by the Early Acess. This game feels entirely complete and, to this time, I haven't found one bug, neither did I feel it was lacking somewhere. Of course there are improvements to be made, but which game doesn't need, right? Overall worth the price, the review and all the hours (which I'm sure more is to come). Try it out!

  I honestly love this game. If you're into automation, this game gives you enough free range to do so. If you're in to more team building and playing a long with friends, it also gives you room to do that as well. The devs are amazing. They often check in with the community within their discord (you should join), are great with feedback, respond in incredible time to bugs and errors within the game, and just are so welcoming altogether. It has been a joy to be a part of such an enjoyable community and i'm excited to see what more Bone's Cafe has to offer in the future. I hope you all enjoy the game too.

  Very Addictive cafe management game with a fun twist. When you cant find friends to help run your cafe.. just make your own!! Muahaha WITH THE POWER OF NECROMANCY!! The amount of things you can do with your undead minions can help complete some very competitive challenges.

  This game is awesome. I can't stop playing. If you like games like PlateUp! or Overcooked, you'll love this game. The others are mostly great for their multiplayer but this one's a wonderful adventure, even alone. My only concern so far, which is pretty big, is the recipes. Some are really easy to understand but others are near impossible to comprehend/recreate, even if they don't require a ton of steps. After a bunch of attempts I just gave up on some of them. Especially the recipes quite far into the game. I heard they're working on making them easier to understand though, which is great because it's basically the only flaw I found. This game is a gem. Just needs a little polish.

  picked this up with zero expectation and my oh my how nice it is to kill my own kins for ingredients. love the pixel art style and the game machanics!

  This would get a neutral from me but since steam only allows binary choices I'm leaning not recommend. The main story is fun and good. It's missing a hands-on tutorial on how to use minions/programming. Default controls are very bad (JLKI), zero mouse support on a PC platform.. My biggest gripes are with endgame, test kitchen and challenges. Discovering and recreating recipes is a pain because it only shows the ingredients and tools, not the order. This means that if you have 6 ingredients in 4 machines it will be a guessing game which ingredients need to be cut, mixed, boiled, or combined, and in what order. The UI is totally unhelpful in this regard. Challenges seem like an afterthought. I spent a long time optimizing and testing a challenge, only for it to not save my challenge layout upon next visit. I also constantly found myself having to clean up ghost items and re-placing machines during the programming process. Programming is very rudimentary and has zero QoL features. Instead of being able to say "take item on left and cut it on board to the right" and placing it multiple times, you have to manually redo it for each individual worker. tldr; decent story mode, very poor PC controls, disappointing endgame.
