  I used to play this game in actual arcade with a cabinent around it..sadly the way of the arcade and that type of play died thanks to mobile phones and home consoles. Still , this is the basic pac-man game. There is nothing wrong with it. It may be not to everyone's standards nowadays due to simplicity of graphics and such, still a great game. Also, be aware this does not support widescreens on pc, and uses the original artwork from the cabinents to fill in the other parts of the screen. The size is actually the size it is in the arcade. I do recommend playing it for nostalgia value and fun. If your into graphics only , avoid and get the championship editions sold on steam. This game is also great for young children as it is good old fashion clean arcade fun!

  Well, It's classic Pac-Man! Rules are simple: eat dots, dodge ghosts! However... Unecessary HD main menu and few other things that graphically doesn't fit at all extremely increased the file size from around 25KB game to almost 1GB.

  1st of all I have to mention - you will find like 50 different Pac-Man games, and a lot of them maybe better than this one, or simply different but as enjoyable, yet ALL of them lack one simple thing - they are NOT that one classic pure original Pac-Man - and this one is released by Bandai Namco ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. It's up to you to decide if you need this one in your library, or you want to buy a pack of various pac-man mods for the same price. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=832169900 +Visuals: Looks exactly as it was back in the days, juicy colors and a lot of video settings. +Soundwork: Authentic sounds and music, nothing to add. +Gameplay: In addition to the flawless port of the original game where you have: -Leaderboards: everyone who plays with default game settings participating in global leaderboards -Custom settings - lives, starting the level, bonus lives for better user experience. -Good party game - short game sessions, good for hot-seat session to challenge your friends :) -I find this PacMan like super hard, I don't know if it's my crooked hands, lack of reaction or casualty, but it's like super hard to advance to the levels above 5 because of how everything speeds up. +Steam achievements - a lot of them! -No steam cards - :( -Non-remappable controls - Personally I find the default controls enjoyable, yet in 2017 you may spend 5 minutes to add the remap feature to your game? If you loved it - buy it to get some nostalgia. If you are old af - buy it so your kids would know how you spend your fun times back in the days. If you never played it - this game is good for your old games collection, but if you just want to play PacMan, you may consider looking at all the other Pac-Man variations on steam.

  This is pac-man. one of the very best classics ever made. the game me, all of my cousin's and friends would turn on to play on sunday morning's with blueberry pancakes and a cappuccino. 10/10.

  This port stays true to the Arcade Cabinet game from the 90s... Avoid the ghosts, gather the Pac-Dots, drop ghosts with pellets, gather fruits!! I know, Pac-Man games are all weird like that. There's also a Save-State function and leaderboards! Challenge your friends, see if they can get a higher score than yours. 7/10 Pac-Man game from the 80s.

  What can be said about Pac-Man that hasn't been said dozens of times already? The game isn't a classic for no reason. The gameplay is addictive and iconic, and as soon as you hear those jingles, beeps, boops, and waka wakas, you'll very likely find them stuck in your head for the rest of the day, if not longer. So how's this PORT of Pac-Man, then? Well, as far as the game itself is concerned, it's Pac-Man! Looks nice, plays great, sounds like the Pac-Man you'd expect. That said, the "ARCADE GAME SERIES" version of Pac-Man here does have a couple of kinks in it, the main one I found being that you do have to play it while most of the screen is taken up with artwork like an old school arcade cabinet, but the game itself is as playable and addictive as it's always been. Despite that, if you want some old school arcade fun to pick up and play without having to worry about the modern video game stresses of story modes, load times, and so on, then this is definitely worth the purchase.
