Muslim History
The history of Islam concerns the political, social, economic and developments of Islamicate civilization. Most historians believe that Islam originated in Mecca and Medina at the start of the 7th century CE, approximately 600 years after the founding of Christianity. Muslims, however, believe that it did not start with Muhammad, but that it was the original faith of others whom they regard as prophets, such as Jesus, David, Moses, Abraham, Noah and Adam.
In 610 CE, the Islamic Prophet Muhammad began receiving what Muslims consider to be divine revelations. Muhammad's message won over a handful of followers and was met with increasing opposition from Meccan notables. In 622, a few years after losing protection with the death of his influential uncle Abu Talib, Muhammad migrated to the city of Yathrib (now known as Medina). With Muhammad's death in 632, disagreement broke out over who would succeed him as leader of the Muslim community during the Rashidun Caliphate.
Muslim Sipah Salar
Ispahsālār or sipahsālār ( "army commander"), in Arabic rendered as isfahsalār, was a title used in much of the Islamic world during the 10th–15th centuries, to denote the senior-most military commanders but also as a generic general officer rank.
Khalid Bin Waleed R.A
Khalid ibn al-Walid ibn al-Mughira al-Makhzumi (Arabic: خالد بن الوليد بن المغيرة المخزومي, romanized: Khālid ibn al-Walīd ibn al-Mughīra al-Makhzūmī; died 642) was an Arab Muslim commander in the service of the Islamic prophet Muhammad and the caliphs Abu Bakr (r. 632–634) and Umar (r. 634–644) who played a leading role in the Ridda wars against rebel tribes in Arabia in 632–633 and the early Muslim conquests of Sasanian Iraq in 633–634 and Byzantine Syria in 634–638.
Muhammad Bin Qasim
Muhammad bin Qasim al-Thaqafi (Arabic: محمد بن القاسم الثقفي, romanized: Muḥammad bin al-Qāsim al-Thaqafī; c. 695 – 715[citation needed]), also known by the laqab (honorific epithet) of Imad ad-Din , was an Arab commander of the Umayyad Caliphate general, who, during the reign of Caliph al-Walid I (r. 705–715), led the Muslim conquest of Sindh and Multan (both in present-day Pakistan) from the third and the last Maharaja of the Brahmin dynasty, Raja Dahir. He was the first Muslim to have successfully invaded Sindh.
Tariq Bin Ziyad
Ṭāriq ibn Ziyād (طارق بن زياد) also known simply as Tarik in English, was a Berber Umayyad commander who initiated the Muslim conquest of Visigothic Hispania (Present day Spain and Portugal) in 711–718 A.D. He led a large army and crossed the Strait of Gibraltar from the North African coast, consolidating his troops at what is today known as the Rock of Gibraltar. The name "Gibraltar" is the Spanish derivation of the Arabic name Jabal Ṭāriq (جبل طارق), meaning "mountain of Ṭāriq" which is named after him.
