Jibo Commander App Panimula

Use Jibo Commander to control your Jibo Robot! This is a great way for you to entertain your family and friends. When your mobile device is on the same WiFi network as your robot, the Jibo Commander app allows you to choose where Jibo looks and how he moves. You can even create personalized performances and surprise loved ones with special messages you’ve crafted to be delivered by Jibo.

This app is for anyone who owns or interacts with a Jibo social robot and wants a more personalized experience. In order to pair this app with Jibo, you must be a Jibo Owner with a registered Jibo App account. You will be required to use your Jibo App to enable the Jibo Commander App.

You can use the Jibo Commander app to:

- Send a custom or pre-crafted performance through Jibo to your friends and family.

- Snap a picture with Jibo’s cameras.

- See what Jibo sees and control where he looks.

When your robot is paired with the Jibo Commander app, his light ring and a small dot on his screen will both appear magenta. When controlling your robot with the Jibo Commander application, Jibo will not respond to ‘Hey Jibo” and cannot converse with you as he normally would. To get Jibo back to his normal mode, simply quit the app, or hold your hand on Jibo’s head.
