Tricky English Grammar Panimula

Learning English grammar offline for free. This is reference app which offers detailed notes, practice activities, and quizzes related to the main aspects of English grammar which every English language learner should know and they may find tricky. The aspects dealt with so far are: articles, pronouns, adjectives, comparison, prepositions, Present past and future tenses, modals, linking words, collocations, phrasal verbs, question tags, conditional sentences, expressions for quantity, a glossary of grammatical terms, irregular verbs, etc..

The app consists of 6 activities. The Main Activity, which gets displayed when you launch the App, serves as a welcome page.

The Content Activity, which is displayed next, offers a scrolling list showing you the grammatical aspects the app covers..

When you select an aspect, you are presented with a menu from which you can choose what to do. Click "NOTES" to read the grammatical notes , "PRACTICE" to take practice activities, or "QUIZ" to take a test related to the aspect chosen.

Each time you start a practice session, you get a set of 20 items chosen randomly from an item bank of more than 150 (150 for each aspect). Pick the right answer by touching one of the offered radio buttons. Your choice is checked immediately and you are told if it is correct or not. Click NEXT to go forward. At item 20, click FINISH. This shows a dialogue with 3 buttons. Click RETAKE to practice the same items again, NEW to have new items, or HOME to go back.

The same applies navigation pattern applies to the quiz activity.

The data bank from which the items are drawn boasts almost 3200 items.
