Genshin Impact may release six banners per version in the future, suggest leaks

According to new Genshin Impact leaks, a future patch from one of Version 4's updates may feature three banner phases. Which of those patches will include this change has not yet been confirmed.

This game currently employs a two-phase banner system. Players should anticipate receiving six Character Event Wishes per update once this change is implemented if the leaks are accurate. The claims made by the leaks are not guaranteed to be true. In a similar vein, very little information is available regarding the duration of each of the three phases.

Although this is subject to change, one leak suggests that this new format could take place prior to Genshin Impact 4.3. There have been no official announcements regarding this change from HoYoverse.

The first leak about this that got a lot of attention just says that Genshin Impact will get three banner phases after one of the 4.X patches ("X" because it's not clear which update it will be)

In this particular leak, nothing else was made public. With a two-phase system, Event Wishes in the current version of the game typically last 21 days. It would make sense to assume that each would last 14 days if it were added to an update.

Nevertheless, there is no evidence to support a specific timetable for the upcoming Event Wish change.

Travellers should be aware by now that this change cannot be implemented until at least Version 3.5 of Genshin Impact, despite previous rumours to the contrary. The Version Update number has been changed from a late 3.5/3.6 to 4.0+ in recent leaks.

They are already aware that Version 3.6 will place Dehya in Wanderlust Invocation, increasing its total number of five stars to seven. According to the latest leaks, that banner will contain nine characters by Version 4.3.

It appears that one of the new entities that will be added to Wanderlust Invocation will be a Hydro character from Fontaine. There are also rumours that a character from Sumeru Bow or Geo Neko would take the final slot.
