  I didn't care for this game for the first 20 minutes or so but then it started to grow on me and i began to gain interest in the character development. There are multiple story lines to choose from which i enjoyed and there are many hot scenes. It's not the best AVN game out there but it held my interest.

  I ate so much bacon and eggs that I died of a heart attack on the 14th day. It's cheap so you can't expect much. For the quality of the game it should be cheaper. MC tells you he's not going to pursue women at the start of the game. MC goes on to spout pickup lines to every woman he sees and bumps into. You almost don't have any choices. Same scenes over and over again. Dialog seems to take a major hit being translated into English. I assume it was originally written in Russian. Every morning you click on the shower and then you click on the kitchen to just click on the stove (bacon and eggs). Now you're setting at the table with your bacon and eggs. You don't actually eat them...they're just there. You can't click on them. No interaction with any objects, just boxes in the lower left-hand corner depicting rooms. You're better off spending your time cleaning your toilet than playing this. At least you know your toilet will be free of what this game is. POS.

  "Twists of My Life" is a visual novel that will keep you entertained for hours, if you enjoy feeling like you're stuck in a bad student movie with poor animation and predictable story line. The characters are not relatable, the graphics are average and the sex scenes are not worth the time. The only thing that makes this game slightly interesting is the multiple endings, but the choices you make to get to them are not that meaningful. Overall, I would recommend this game to anyone who needs a nap.

  A pretty unique game of the genre as you can't build a harem and there is no incest. You have to make choices during the game and to see all content, you will need to replay some parts, thus making it quite lengthy. Characters are very interesting and well written, artwork and renders very good, same for the animations. A must buy for lovers of ren'py adult VN.

  Twist of my Life is OK 6/10. There is obvious translation errors from the native game language to English and they are quite regular. The reused scenes and dialogue are redundant and detract from the story progression. They feel like filler until the next adult scene. Graphics are decent and the NPC models look great. Once you get past the repetitive scenes the story does kick in a bit and deliver a fair romance experience. This is only the third VN I have experienced. Compared to "Acting Lessons" it needs improvement to match that title's quality.

  While true realism would be hard to impossible to achieve in a game in this genre, Twists in My Life does a better job than most. + The player character is neither all-powerful, nor powerless + Choices matter, and the results may surprise you. + The female characters are strong, if unusual + Graphics +/- No voice acting/music - Some events are unavoidable, even when they require action from the protagonist - One or two instances where a picture seems to suggest an outcome incompatible with what came before. - Occasionally repetitive conversations

  This could have been an enjoyable visual novel, and while you might enjoy it if you are desperate as there are some sexy moments, though some may not appeal to everyone, but overall I was disappointed and won't bother with a second play through. There is too many things that ruin it; just really stupid things like terrible translations and grammatical errors resulting in countless lines of dialogue that don't make sense and make it really tedious to read and try to understand the thinly veiled story. However even worse than that is that the semi-transparent text boxes get in the way of the best parts. Another disappointment was the lack of choice like being forced into choices you may not want and not getting a choice of things you do want. Another thing worth mentioning is that there is no audio, which I can understand given the price you pay and did not detract too much for me, but it is just another example that makes this visual novel appear to be very shoddy cash grab. If you are looking for a good adult visual novel then I can highly recommend Acting Lessons.

  Adult Visual Novel, not a game.Worth the money, though not as good as "Being a Dik" or "Acting Lessons" and replay is good with 22 endings. Don't know why there is sound controls in options so don't waste your time adjusting, there's no sound effects or music sadly. Game doesn't start to pickup till around day 12. Everyday game choices can be repetitive but push through it. There's about 22 endings but i'm at about 5 so far. Also you can't have sex with other woman after you pick a route except Irene and maybe the twins at the park? You have to be careful about cheating so save at places you have choices like lie/refuse/go for it etc. Hint: There's a image and video folder that's easy to access in the game file worth looking at as it shows a lot of screens/routes worth aiming for. Con: Videos are very short in this VN.

  At first glance Twists of My Life may just look like a visual novel that is geared towards sex but there is a decent plot to it if you choose to explore it. You start as a student who transfers to a new law school after getting expelled from their previous school. You can meet a variety of characters that can impact your new life in different ways. There are a good amount of choices that branch the story off in various ways. The graphics are better than many visual novels out there, not perfect or AAA quality but very much above average. There are animations as well which work well for the game. There is no sound at all but I didn’t really mind that. I’ll take no voice acting over bad voice acting just as I will take no soundtrack over a bad soundtrack. There a few spelling and grammar errors but it was literally three issues in total so it’s not a deal breaker or a huge problem. One issue I had was that several scenes repeat over and over such as having breakfest and a shower each day is almost always the exact same scene and wording. Several sex scenes repeat as well. One issue this did create was continuity issues. For instance the scene of arriving at class each day was usually the same which meant that a characters clothes could change from scene to scene due to the copy/paste of scenes even though only a few seconds had passed in the story. It didn’t harm my enjoyment much but more variety would have been better. I played Twists of My Life on Linux. It never crashed on me at all. Alt-Tab didn’t work. The game supported manual saves and had 27 save slots. The game opened on the wrong monitor and had to be manually moved over to my primary. This is an issue with the Ren’Py engine and not specifically with the game. During gameplay my GPU usage was 0.83-10%; my VRAM usage was 585MB-815MB; my CPU usage was 1-2%; and my system RAM usage was 2.4GB-3GB. I played version 1.1.0A which used version 7.3.2.320 of Ren’Py. Overall I came away impressed with Twists of My Life. I enjoyed the story and the characters. There is something for everyone. If you just want a bunch of sex scenes they are there but if you want more than that you will find something as well. It has a few warts but nothing major. I finished my first playthorugh in 2 hours and 49 minutes but could spend a lot more time if I wanted to see each possible ending. I paid $3.39 CAD for the game and can say it is easily worth that, I would have happily paid $15 for it.   I'm pretty sure they used google translate from some foreign language and left it. Having to reread a sentence 3 times just to have it still confuse you flat out kills it for me.
