When you can't sink the Titanic and your game is called 'Titanic' something is wrong. https://youtu.be/71fwg9DfsTE Almost completely broken. Should be labeled early access at very least. Hoped for something like "Fall of the Titanic" and it's nothing close. Low details, no interiors and couldn't progress past first port due to game not thinking boat had docked (waiting 10min while doing nothing). Once docked the ocean turned into stone so I decided to throw myself overboard, sat there choking but wouldn't let me die. Attempted to play "explore the titanic mode" which was exactly the same thing as story mode, except boat is stationary. Highlight of experience was no collision meshes on every wall which caused me to get stuck any time I walked more then 2 feet, coupled with physics that make Fallout look good throwing me sky-high to get a good view of the same 6 polygon building repeated and dubbed a city. Pass.

It seems like a beta-game to me but if the dev's continue their work it'll be great for sure. At least it has a lot of potencial and 2€ is fair enough.

Although the game clearly isn't finished yet, i really find it great that the developer is putting effort and actual money into this project. I've seen many bad Titanic games on Steam, but this isn't one of them, it's actually a really good project, that has potential and the developer is still updating it, which is great ! Keep up the good work.

Titanic was called the Ship of Dreams, and it was. It really was... Who doesn't know it's story or seen the films! It's loved by so many, including by me. The mixed reviews didn't hold me back from buying this. And I regret being so stubborn sometimes. As soon as I started the game, I saw the beautiful ship laying in front of me. I decided to make a picture, But my game immediately froze and I had to restart. I restarted the game and tried again. Right after I walked on board another problem occurred. My biggest problem wasn't the sinking ship, Oh no... It was walking up the stairs. Not only that but you often get stuck between walls or fall through the walls. Another picture? Nope... It froze again. Before I wrote this review, I watched a few video's about this game. In my game it didn't arrive in Queenstown Ireland, It goes straight to the iceberg moment. I guess the developer took it out because people thought it was taking to long and they were bored?! At the start of the sinking I heard sounds, but while sinking there were no other sound effects. There are no bots, no screaming people, no panic or chaos. Nothing falls down the deck of the ship, The lights stay on the entire time and the ship didn't break in half like the real one did. It really disappointed me... It wasn't the Titanic, It was just a random sinking ship to me! In the reviews I saw this game is still being worked on even while it isn't in early access. Hopefully there will be more added in the future, and I'd love to try it out again if the developer does so. But in the current state I can't recommend this game to anyone.

Great for anyone who likes the Titanic and its history amd want to have a stroll around its exterior. But if you are looking for a game to play then give this one a miss.

PROS: + Capable of running on even the lowest spec machine. + You can roam around the upper exterior decks and watch as the ship sinks. + You can see the grand staircase and Turkish baths. CONS: - You can ONLY see the grand staircase and Turkish baths. No other interior rooms are available. To see these rooms, you have to walk through two specific doors that are closed, so there's no indication you can actually go through them into a different room. - The entire ship is lifeless as there are no passengers or crew. The only furniture present consists of several lounge chairs and one bench, none of which you can use. - It can be extremely frustrating to go up or down stairs as you'll likely get caught up and either have to back up and try again or attempt some combination of crouching and jumping. - NONE of the controls work on the bridge. Normally this wouldn't matter as you're not the captain or an officer aboard, but the game specifically tells you to go to the bridge. When this happens, the game jumps from the docks during the day to the ocean at night. - It takes roughly 30 real-time minutes for the ship to sink. The game does warn you of this, but seriously... waiting half an hour is intolerable when the most you can do is wander around on one of the outside decks. - Lifeboats are available and do launch, but don't try to use them. If you do, you'll get bumped off the lifeboat as soon as it's lowered and then drown. - Graphics are low quality and expect a lot of clipping if you run up against a wall (which you will). - The regular price, while still normally considered inexpensive, is asking far too much given the game's barely functional state. VERDICT: If this game were an Early Access title, I'd go a lot easier on it, but it's being sold as a fully released game on Steam. In its current state, I'd say Titanic barely qualifies as an alpha demo. I'd really like to see more rooms than the grand staircase and Turkish baths. At the very least, we should be able to see the engine room, a dining room, and an example of a first class, second class, and third class cabin. Maybe instead of concerning himself with multiplayer (shown on the news section of the store page), the dev should concentrate on making this game playable for single player use. Looking at MP gameplay doesn't even make sense as there's nothing to do other than wander around and drown (whether or not you get on a lifeboat). Until a LOT is done to this game, I'd recommend staying as far away as possible. There's no reason to purchase Titanic as it stands right now. If you want to see the ship itself, I'd recommend going to Wikipedia or getting a book out of the library. Both options are free and give you more to see than anything you'd get here. In fact, the game is so bad that the only reason I haven't asked for a refund is because I paid a grand total of $1.69 CAD as it's currenly 50% off the normal price. I can lose out on what amounts to a small cup of coffee. EDIT: Edited to fix inaccurate statements about there being no interior rooms whatsoever.

I played this after not touching it for a while, I have to say, when I first got this it did not live up to my expectations. Then the grand staircase update came, Kinda didn't make me too happy. I decided to leave the game alone for a while, I came back to it just an hour ago, and decided to go on the main game mode, It still did have that god awful "Southamton" and the fail of a Grand Staircase, but when I got to the sinking mode, my view changed just a little to say it's worth the two dollars I spent on this, I heard the sinking mode was updated to have the break but that was it, I was surprised to see a seemingly accurate sinking list, lifeboats actually launch, and it does what it's advertised, it snaps in two (but I fell through the deck and died) I was honestly surprised.
