  It's a short puzzle/detective game made by a single Person. I really enjoyed it and the fact that when i did it there was no videos or no solutions to the puzzles. All the clues are there you just need to work your brain a little. I would strongly suggest that you set your graphics to medium at least because on my old potato and low details there was some hints that werent clear to me and took a while to figure it out. i did it in 5.6hours i think but i was stuck a long time on 1 puzzle in particular. I dont consider it horror at all but if you are sensitive about Suicide then maybe you wont like certain themes. its a work of love and even more enjoyable if you speak french and can play it with the ''original'' voice actors.

  This has been pretty fun so far! The movement is pretty fluid and works well, the game has a nice atmosphere and it keeps me on edge during some of the spookier bits. I do think that a little adjusting might be helpful for players like me that are blind as heck. Some items didn't really stand out to me, so I missed them on first pass and eventually got them later, but that was also before I figured out how to use the light sources. But that's at least 50% my fault, if not more, so do with that what you will. If you enjoy nice atmosphere with a pretty somber story so far, give this a whirl. Small indie devs deserve the support, especially the ones that come out of early access to hit a full launch. Having a blast so far and can't wait to finish this off. If you're still not convinced?   Done by solo Quebecois dev Chien D'Or, The Whispering Valley has a special place close to my heart, since Dracula : Resurrection was one of the first games I ever played. TWV brought those memories to me, of a time where every game I played was new and an adventure I didn't want to finish. A point and click by nature, but you move in a 360 degree angle, in a fully rendered 3D environment brimming with life and detail. The game is lite on horror, but touches on subjects like depression and suicide, so, please be aware when playing. Although, I can say it's nothing beyond gory and the subjects are touched lightly. Honestly, you should buy it. Right now. You know why? You can pet a dog and a cat...What else do you want? A 10 out of 10, for me.   I really enjoyed how this game built its eerie ambiance and didn't hold your hand when it came to puzzles or figuring out what needed to be done next. The loading screens between locations took longer than I would have liked, but overall I do recommend this game to mystery fans.

  I thought it was a good game. The Whispering Valley/La vallée qui murmure manages to be immersive and all sorts of creepy. Despite its indie nature, cinematic scenes and sound effects were surprisingly well done. Hearing Québec voice actors was refreshing and a rare treat for me. Loading screens are a little long, nothing to deter anyone however.

  Bought this to give it a try and I definitely enjoyed it a fair bit! The atmosphere is great, and it's very nicely reminiscent of the old school point and clickers like Scratches and Black Mirror. However, the loading times between different areas (and every time you go into a building) are mildly frustrating, and there's no in-game map or anything like that, so even though navigating isn't difficult, I found it rather annoying at times to have to make my way from one side of the map to another to grab something and sit through four or five really slow loading screens to do so. The other one minor disadvantage with buying a game like this is also that there isn't much out in the way of guides yet - plus there's no in game hint system, so if you get stuck (like I did at two points) then you're just sort of out of luck and can't really continue. This is where the loading time issue becomes a little annoying; since going in and out of places to try to check them over again can really get to you. That said, even with getting stuck / running all over the map, it isn't too long a game and took a comfortable 2-3 hours to finish (3 hours if you're REALLY taking your time, like I was). I felt the length was just about right for the content, and appreciate a game that doesn't hugely overstay its welcome. The puzzles are also fairly solidly constructed, and I never really felt super lost about what I should be doing or where to go, which speaks to the generally good design it had. Also, you get to pat a cute dog and a cat! Try it if only for that.

  Très ambiant, et aborde des sujets qui portent à réflexion!! Les puzzles sont juste et réaliste. Respect du patrimoine et de l'architecture. Manque un peu d'optimisation dans les transition entre les différents lieux. J'ai adoré chaque minute avec ce jeu excepté les minutes avec le piano hahah!!

  I am a big fan of point and click games as well as horror games and I have played many that just don't quite hit the mark, but this game is one that I can definitely recommend. The atmosphere and sound design alone give that creepy feeling that send chills down my body and give me goosebumps on my arms and legs. I constantly had this feeling that something was watching me and was always looking around expecting something to be there. The puzzles are not overly difficult, but, at the same time, made me feel accomplished when I figured them out. I did get stuck at the piano puzzle only to have the developer come into my chat with an update that makes the clue easier to see. I would recommend playing The Whisperer first, it is a prelude to this game and can be completed in under an hour. I had a lot of fun streaming this game, the developer was very nice and i enjoyed chatting with them, and I hope to see more of their games in the future.
