  Initial impressions: I really like this. It runs at 8K resolution at 60 FPS right from the start. It's got lovely music, simple but pleasant visuals, and very solid driving mechanics. Also, it's got a level editor. There's already plenty of community made tracks to try. Most importantly tough: 4 Player splitscreen support. There's like, 5 games on PC that do that.

  This is probably the most F-Zero like game one will find currently. Even moreso than game like Fast: RMX and Fast Racing Neo. The amount of content is unfortunately lacking, but the track editor and online sharing is great for staying entertained. The controls are excellent and the physics feel great. I do hope to see some sort of jumping mechanic or air control in the future though. There's so much potential with Super Pilot. Don't screw this up dopagames! UPDATE: The updates since this review have been fantastic. The track editor is much more fleshed out, although I wish there were more themes. Custom music player, new gameplay elements, new official tracks, and more! I still absolutely recommend this!

  I've been searching for an anti-grav racing game that emulates F-Zero X/GX's physics for years now and I've finally found it. Solid music, tight controls, pretty good music, zero performance issues, it's even got a wonderful track editor that I've been dreaming of since the F-Zero X 64DD Expansion never came over to the states. The only gripe I have with it right now comes with its early access status; its pretty barebones for it being a 10 dollar game. There is a very good foundation here, though. Some suggestions for the devs incase they read this: -Fun stuff for the track editor. As it stands, its mostly just loops and turns, but I'd like to see some other types of hazards, like landmines or jump-pads that lets us take some wild shortcuts. -Ability to check your rear view, as well as maybe a first person view so it feels like we're in the cockpit. -Maybe some actual characters and lore? I'd imagine this would be the last thing that matters but one of my favorite parts about F-Zero GX was reading the pilot profiles. -Some type of progression system, but I think you might already be doing this. I really look forward to what you have in store!

  There's not much to this game yet, but what is there is executed expertly. There's a good deal of innovation in the handling and drift mechanic with a surprising amount of nuance to them. Tight corners sometimes require braking, which is unusual in a racing game of this style, but it's definitely a positive rather than a negative thing. The track editor is simple and intuitive enough to pick right up, and the community has created some pretty interesting and fun tracks so far. The AI racers navigate these tracks well, and in a way that at least seems like they're working with the same racing physics you are, which is awesome. In a genre that is sorely lacking well-executed games, this one is a breath of fresh air, and I'm definitely looking forward to more features and content being added in the future.

  I'm a huge fan of F-Zero and have missed its tight, fast, and super responsive gameplay. This game already has those controls down, and its super fun. With a really intuitive track editor and more features on the way, this game is already carving out a space for itself and with additional polish and features, definitely has the ability to stand apart and rival F-zero and other racing games. If you liked F-Zero at all, you should try this game!

  If your reading this then you must have liked/loved F-Zero on the N64 or Gamecube. Quite simply this is the closest thing to an F-Zero ive played and ive played them all. The feeling of speed, and control of your ship is spot on. The track editor is superb and means I can recreate the N64/Gamecube tracks, or tbh wait for someone else to do it because im lazy. I really hope this game continues to develop and get support as it has so much potential. Once it has online MP, Championship and Achievements I will be a very, very happy man. :)

  Pretty much what it says on the box - an anti-gravity racer that captures the feel of F-Zero X (or GX) with a decent level editor and the ability to share tracks you create. I will stress that it's only in early access so I imagine many more features will be added before release. At the moment, there is no online multiplayer, only local multiplayer as well as a Grand Prix and time trial mode. These are fine but the limited amount of tracks means that replay value is mostly found by racing on all the custom tracks you and others have made. I have a gripe with the AI difficulties too as I find my skill level falls between the two hardest difficulties, with the hardest setting making it virtually impossible to win against the AI (I'm sure it is possible, I just haven't done it yet). The level editor is pretty robust, not only can you make tracks with loops, drops and vertical climbs but you can create tunnels or tube tracks reminiscent of Big Blue. The editor gives ample space to work with if you really want to flex your creative muscles and make a longer track. Currently the only item you can place on the track is a boost pad, but I imagine more items such as mines will be added in updates. The only problems I have faced in the game at this point are controller related, as my controller won't work in the menu or the level editor, especially when testing a track. I have to resort to keyboard controls and when I want to quit testing and edit the track some more, there's no option to do so, resulting in me having to restart the game. My controller works fine in the demo so I'm not sure why it doesn't now, but I'm sure this is an easy fix. Super Pilot will scratch that itch if you yearn for a new F-Zero game, but there's still so much potential in it to be an even better game.

  Pro - Gameplay, Controls, Bright and colorful visual (really remind of N64 FZX) Con - Music (need more) and loading screen (plain white screen). Yup plays identical to F-Zero GX, but with a Mario Kart drift boost feature! Great track customization to create, download, and play! The A.I. put a strong fight (which is good) and will even challenged the most skill player on the highest difficulty. The control is very sharp which is necessity for racing over 2000 kph. Pulling off drift boosts feel nice and rewarding! IMO this game feel more closer to F-Zero GX than RedOut and BallisticNG (The latter feel more like a perfect WipeOut game. I highly recommend them all!)

  WOW! its fzero on pc! with custom tracks!! its amazing!!! Top of my wishlist is custom music because its the only thing i dont like about this(except the track on the cuby spacy levels), but then im fussy with music.. absolutley recomend for every fzero fan out there this is already more fun for me than formula fusion, grip and redout... more sense of speed with tracks wide enough so your not contantly stuck to the wall and up to like 48 ai opponents racing with you! would like to see some snow and lighning storm levels, maybe a forest and maybe some placable set peices in the editor

  AG Racer that actually controls and feels like F-Zero. Unlike a bunch of other AG Racers on here with normal physics. Oh, and the track editor is very thorough and pushes this to insta-buy.
