  I'm mixed on feelings for the game, so I can't say I'd recommend it or not. Very cute design, easy to play and figure out, and has some familiar and unique elements of play for games of this type. But it does kind of feel unbalanced, though it means nothing in the game itself. When you lose you can just 'retry' and it puts you back a few steps before the fight you lost. But it does throw me off to be stacked on resistances, and take 0 damage from everything, then suddenly they use a skill that hits for 60% of my hp out of nowhere. But aside from the very few bosses, all fights are optional. You can simply just back-stab everything for exp to rank up before the bosses. Very little grinding at all, it's mostly all in the story, which I regrettably skipped thru to speed to the end. And for those that are interested in what the patch supplies, don't be. There's not much really that good that comes from the patch. Maybe a total of 25(?) different stills with progression/etc, very often reused, and there's an odd inconsistency in artwork. Some is good quality, some looks like the artist tried drawing blindfolded. Not much change to how battle works except for boss fights, where there's strip animations and temporary disablement. And by disablement, I mean turned to stone/bound/zombified/etc, not violated. Mostly con scenes overall, and for kinks its a mixed bag. Overall, okay experience, would only recommend on discount, and wouldn't get it solely for the eroge content.

  It's... alright. I wanted to review and downvote it before I finished it, but I held back and after watching the ending I changed my mind. It's overall a decent experience, fun at times even, but the game is kind of all over the place and leaves much to be desired. I was really looking forward to it since Kagura announced it, back in June. I suppose I'm only mildly disappointed that it didn't meet my expectations. Here's the gist. +The sprite art of the main cast is 10/10, really cute and conveys a lot of emotion. +The translation is really good, way beyond what I'd consider necessary for this type of game. Only a handful of typos. I counted like 3, including a small untranslated line. +Lelie and Ciel make an amazing team together and compliment each other well. +The price per content ratio is ok. If you don't backtrack at all, you can finish it in less time than it took me. Heck, some say they've completed it in a mere 5 hours, whereas it took me around 18. -The aforementioned sprite art is too bright. Might be just my machine for some reason, but I don't remember encountering such an issue with other games. -The CGs are completely inconsistent and all over the place. They range from atrocious to passable and there are only a handful of decent ones. -No scenes between Lelie & Ciel. -Ciel doesn't have enough scenes in general. -The story is your run of the mill power of friendship type deal. It isn't bad, just average and completely predictable. -I'll be a hypocrite and say that the sex content frankly doesn't fit in this game because in most cases you want to protect Lelie's smile and not ruin her, especially considering her backstory and circumstances. -There's no real corruption of morals or anything. You view a scene and you increase one of her stats. Once they're high enough you can view other scenes. It doesn't feel like natural progression for a hentai game and honestly, I'll reiterate that it shouldn't even be a hentai game in the first place. It's really out of character and kinda feels forced how her clumsiness is used to such ends. -90% of the combat abilities and items are completely unnecessary, but sadly that's how it's like for most such games anyway. -There could've been more to Lelie's backstory to even better establish her character. -Did I mention that most of the sex CGs are really bad? No beating around the bush. They're REALLY bad. -Kinda short in general with a mere handful of locations. -No real main threat or villain throughout the game. Each area has its own small story and that's about it. I liked the ending and the camaraderie between Lelie & Ciel, but ultimately I feel like I'll forget all about this game in no time at all. A pity. It could've been so much more.

  Lame, no good H scenes and you waste so many hours trying to figure out what to do next. Wish I could get a refund but I spend 2 hours each event because there were no clue what to do next.

  A ditzy tomboy, a big tiddy goth GF, a hooker with a heart of gold, and a cancer patient team up to stop the Catholic Church from selling orphans into sex slavery so they can prevent the Pope from using a Pot of Greed to rob a ghost ship. 10/10 GOTY 2021

You control a party of 1-3 characters, exploring villages and dungeons while fighting monsters and talking to NPC’s. Combat is either turn-based or instantaneous, depending on how you run into foes. Connecting from behind defeats them immediately; any other direction will launch the battle screen. The latter yields more xp and rewards. Bossfights can’t be skipped though, so you’ll have to collect some xp along the way. In addition to the standard stuff, Lelie Navigation has a couple of unusual features. One is the MC’s dowsing ability, which allows her to search for hidden items on the map. The other one is her mood. Based on your choices and performance, her mood will rise or fall, which affects your combat effectiveness. Also worth noting: the game doesn’t take you by the hand. You’ll get hints, but there’s still quite a bit of stuff that you’ll need to figure out for yourself Controls: keyboard and mouse [b]STORY[/b] You play as Lelie Petrichor, an cute, none-too-bright, hyper-active girl with the attention span of a drunken squirrel in a Nutella factory. After you lost your parents, you were adopted by the mage Nebel, who raised you to become a dowser. Together with your friend Ciel, Nebel’s other apprentice, you help people across the kingdom find their lost stuff back. Needless to say, there’s some evil afoot in the kingdom, and it doesn’t take long for Lelie and Ciel to become caught up in it. The main storyline is mostly linear, but depending on your choices during the game you may get several different endings. Because of the mood mechanic, your choices also matter for the overall vibe: Lelie can be overjoyed, gloomy and sad, or something in between. The game also sports a decent amount of side quests, nearly all of which unlock lewd scenes. [b]QUALITY[/b] As far as RPG-Maker eroges go, Lelie Navigation’s gameplay is certainly above average. Combat is fast but meaningful, the user interface is well-designed and the writing is quite good. It’s not a brainless click-fest either; many of the quests require you to pay attention and do a bit of searching or thinking. So most of the time, playing Lelie’s Navigation feels like an actual game. [h1]THE GOODS[/h1] [b]SUBJECT[/b] The lewd in Lelie’s Navigation is mostly about Lelie’s sexual escapades, although Ciel and Ecleia (a friend you meet along the way) get a couple of scenes too. The scenes are generally consensual and vanilla-ish, but later on you’ll run into some more outlandish stuff too. (Most notably, there’s quite a bit of shota content. If you – like me – aren’t into that, be ready to hit the fast forward button.) Unlike in most of these games, the girls’ reactions to their experiences are actually somewhat consistent and believable. For instance, if something happens against their will, they won’t suddenly start enjoying it halfway through, and their mood may drop afterwards. Keywords: [spoiler]bondage, big breasts, devices, group, fluids, forced, humiliation, public, solo, straight, urination[/spoiler] [b]CONTENT[/b] Some 70-odd CG-based scenes. Many scenes use the same base material. [b]ACCESS[/b] You run into several scenes as part of the main questline; it’s impossible to finish the game without having any lewd encounters. However, most scenes require you to talk to certain NPC’s, raise your sexual stats to a certain level and/or reach certain story objectives. You probably won’t see every scene during a single playthrough, as some of them are tied to specific endings. Finding and unlocking all scenes therefore is a bit of a challenge (even more so than the main plotline). After seeing a scene once, you can revisit it in your notebook. This notebook also gives you hints on how to unlock follow-up scenes, if they exist. Finishing the game unlocks a free play mode where you can collect some (but not all) scenes that you’ve missed. There’s no way to unlock the full gallery (or at least none that I’ve found). [b]QUALITY[/b] The artwork is of mixed quality. The artist has a cute and fairly original style, but unfortunately also inconsistent. Most CG’s look okay, some are excellent, but others quite bad (crude drawings, weird body angles). The body proportions of the MC also varies between scenes for no apparent reason. [h1]VERRO’S VERDICT[/h1] I enjoyed Lelie Navigation. It certainly has its flaws, most notably the inconsistent and sometimes sloppy artwork. But it has a pleasant pace to it; just the right mix of combat, story, puzzling and lewd to keep you hooked for an evening or two, without becoming overly boring or grindy. On top of that, the storytelling is engaging, often funny, and at times even wholesome. If that’s your thing, go for it! Don’t buy it only for the lewd though; while the writing is good, you may find the CG’s a poor reward for the amount of effort you need to put in to see them.
