But don't let that fool you into thinking it's worth it. This review's going to be longer that it has to be but I want to elaborate on a few points (clarity over brevity, here). [i]Hey, I bought it so you don't have to![/i] First of all, despite the store page's claim that "The content of this DLC purchase is immediately applied," I could only access it in-game after closing and relaunching my game client and then logging into my character. It's not enough to just return to the character select screen; you have to relaunch the game altogether. Not exactly "immediately," and I was legitimately worried I'd been ripped off. I mean, I still was, but I'll get to that. The Rebirth Ticket allows you full cosmetic character customization, which is something very important in a physics-filled waifu simulator such as this one. There are tons of eyes, eyebrows, hairstyles, and other elements that are hidden during character creation (you only see parts dependant on your character's personality type), so if you want the FULL suite of customization options, you'll need a Rebirth Ticket. It also lets you allocate stat points, too. Something else you can't do when you initially create a character. It's unfortunate to see such functionality locked behind a paywall -- but you can say the same thing about half of the game's classes and those undergarments in the Item Store that cost $13.99 each. Ridiculous. On the topic of undergarments, the Starter Pack comes with three cosmetic items: Calf-Length Socks, see-through Stockings, and the Ancient Creature Tattoo. All three of which can be equipped on female characters (not sure about the fellas; not like you'd have a male character in a waifu simulator anyway, but still). Here's the catch: [b]All three of these items occupy the same damn equipment slot.[/b] You can't slap on your cool ink and pull on your stockings. Naturally, the store page didn't mention that, so here, have three items that offer no stats benefits and exist purely to look cool, but you can only use one at a time. Wait, what? Sure, you COULD sell them for 3,840 CP each, but then what's the point of even buying the "exclusive undergarment[s]"? I should also point out that the Stockings look terrible. I don't know what technique they used for the transparency effect, but it's a non-scaling grid pattern that looks like a PS2-era shadow. Just awful. And despite the first image on the store page showing a black Tattoo, it's actually purple in-game, like in the second image on the store page. The Socks are in fact black. Can you use dyes on these three undergarments? I have no idea. This pack should have come with dyes so new players aren't all running around in white shirts, but none are provided. I'll update this review if I ever get far enough to find out (or if anyone lets me know). EDIT: The three of them can be dyed at the Tome of Knowledge. However, only the Socks will appear in the colour you choose. Dyeing the Tattoo and Stockings will instead change the colour of your standard-issue default underwear and not the "exclusive undergarment" itself. Also, there are no dyes in this Pack and apparently they're only available from real-life money paid gambling boxes. What the hell? Okay, let's wrap this up. What do you get in this pack? [list] [*]You get the ability to access character creation items initially hidden from you (hair, eyes, etc.)! [*]You get the ability to allocate your character's stat points, otherwise inaccessible to you! [*]You get three cosmetic undergarments, only one of which is equippable at a time! [*]You get a damn good idea of this company's approach to DLC if features, classes, character creation, stat allocation, gambling items, and the other crap on the Steam DLC page, Item Store Page, and Marketplace are any indication! [*]You get taken for a ride like the gullible fool this company seems to think you are! [/list] All that for about tree-fiddy. "B-But it's ONLY $3.39!" Yeah, and the two paywalled classes are "only" $20.99 each. The gambling boxes are "only" $3.99 a pop with no guarantee of getting the stuff you actually want. The character-specific underwear presumably-otherwise inaccessible through gameplay are "only" $13.99 each. That armour set on the Market is "only" $132.49. (EDIT: That costume isn't listed anymore, so I hope someone wasn't stupid enough to buy it at that price.) Character customization that was hidden from you, stats allocation you were prevented from accessing, and your choice of one equippable cosmetic at a time. And this is the just the "Starter" Pack. I'd hate to see where it goes from here.

  TO THOSE WHO "DIDN'T RECEIVE THE ITEMS" REBIRTH, UNDERGARMENTS "Start the game and proceed to the gameplay" "press esc. and go to steam inventory" (once loaded ur good to go) "go to main menu and proceed to character list u can get the REBIRTH TICKET"

  well, it's worth it if you just started playing this game, but the stockings is not what I thought it would be, it looks kinda pixelated.

  The fact that you are making people pay money at all in order to fully access the entire character creator is disgusting, if you've no desire to be as hated as EA I suggest you rectify this mindset you've got rolling.

  Good value for a rebirth ticket and some easy CP fodder. Only gripe is that the tattoo isn't actually black as shown in the first image. Would like to see that change personally.
