The unique chatta app has been designed specifically to support the chatta teaching process for children in Early Years, with Special Educational Needs, Learning a New Language and developing Oracy Across the Curriculum. The app, developed by award winning teachers, has been created with simplicity and ease of use in mind to help children to become better communicators, writers, readers and thinkers.

The chatta app engages every learner in talk. Combined with the chatta approach the app encourages children to reflect on, review and improve oral language – in a similar way to how written work is redrafted. By linking images and voice recordings, children build up to a deeper understanding of order and sequence, leading to oral fluency and narrative competence.
