An expert in Spanish and English, he studied Hebrew and produced this version of the Bible in Spanish from a manuscript of the Bible translated by Casiodoro de Reina, one of the first Castilian translations of the Bible.

Unlike La Reina Valera 1960, Martin Stendal's version was remarkable in its fidelity to the original texts, but at the same time it achieved an updated, useful and understandable version for all and it is free.
