With the new Virtual Reality App Knauf TOPview² you can look around in different rooms, experience and perceive the visual effect of acoustic ceilings and discover how the perception of space is improved considerably, e.g. by the installation of perforated ceilings.

Simply download the App, insert your Smartphone into a Google Cardboard viewer and you are ready to go. No glasses to hand? No problem! You can use the App without glasses too. Just select the Display mode.

Using the new “Measure acoustics” function, you can measure and display the reverberation time of any room and use acoustical measures which can be implemented to achieve the specifications according to DIN or to achieve a reverberation time that is perceived to be pleasant.

You can quickly and easily get an impression of whether an acoustically effective installation or retrofit is worthwhile, and what scope is available in terms of the required surface, the choice of products and the design.

This is what you require for the optimum acoustic experience:

- The Knauf TOPview² App

- A Smartphone with the Android operating system and installed motion sensor (gyroscope)

- A Google Cardboard Virtual Reality (VR) viewer.

If you do not have a Google Cardboard viewer available, you can also use the app in display mode of your Android Smartphone or tablet.

For certain Smartphone models, the Moiré pattern effect may occur depending on the resolution of the display when observing the perforated ceilings.

Use of headphones is recommended in order to have the perfect experience of the acoustic effects of perforated ceilings.
