  Pretty decent indie horror game. Let's just start with what is bad about this game. Max resolution only 1080p, Sound is way too loud and no audio settings in game. Camera movement stuttering, most annyoing thing about indie games ever. You can also see some borders on the sides of the game. Story was okay nothing too crazy, but comparing to other indie games it's very good. Gameplay was pretty fun and it takes around 1 hour to complete. Not a terrible game for the price. Had some unique mechanics that i have not seen yet on other horror games.

  Let me just saw that I was not mentally or physically prepared for this game. WHOA. Scare factor 20/10. This game was a wild roller coaster ride of emotions and jump scares lol! Story was 9/10 just a couple parts that were hard to follow, but overall what an amazingly terrifying game! The music was absolutely incredible, the ambiance in the game was top notch. Also the nods the Paganistic symbols was not only accurate, but used very well and in proper context. I highly recommend this game, my community and I were on the edge of our seats the ENTIRE TIME!

  What a fascinating foray into the darkness of the human psyche; how we can be so deeply corrupted by the very things we sought to fight against. It's actually quite surprising to think that more horror games don't put you in the shoes of an older protagonist. The fact that August is indeed an old man makes his journey through this dark hellscape all the more horrific and desperate. The gameplay is solid, didn't run into many problems, though I will say that if you're used to playing games where crouch is CTRL, you're gonna end up accidentally using a first-aid kit. You're given first-aid kits for health, caffeine pills for stamina, and rosaries for "faith," which turns the game into kind of a pseudo-FPS; you point August's cross at things and hold-click to exorcise them, both inanimate objects and hideous demons (there is also a weapon that turns it into an actual FPS briefly). I will say that I never really ran short of any of the consumables, so that's something to be mindful of. Furthermore, I barely ever used the caffeine pills, but I am quite patient so whenever the player sprints too long, August yelps and the screen flashes, affected by what I can only assume is a heart condition. The boss of the game was interesting, and I did run into a small glitch where I was tossed during the bossfight right out of the map and just kept falling until the boss once again grabbed me. I could do this ad infinitum as long as I kept resisting. The music was quite interesting, and the ambient sound built up an intense atmosphere. The sound design is pretty good, though I will point out just two things: 1) The writing in the game, as in the literal documents you can pick up and read, as well as the subtitles, were sometimes a bit strangely worded - I assume this is due to the fact that English isn't their first language (doing better than me, I can only speak English... sort of), and it's an indie game (doing better than me, I couldn't make anything this detailed if my life depended upon it). 2) As above, so below. The writing in turn might have affected the script at times, as the voice acting inevitably had a couple of moments where things were strangely worded. Overall, my experience of the game was actually pretty good! The story was good, and even though it was somewhat predictable, it was still compelling, and the environments, gameplay mechanics and the overall game in general was enjoyable. Thanks for letting me experience it. Definitely give it a go, it's worth a look. 8/10

  Damn, long time i dont get chills while playing a game. Had some tough time with the lighting in the game, but aside from that I had an amazing experience. Recommend for any fan of horror games!

  A different kind of horror game. I liked it a lot! The voice of Aughust is spot on. He makes the whole game. You are a priest exorcising a house and it is very unpredictable. The few things I didn't like is that the sound is WAY TO LOUD when something happens. It is not balanced at all. And the rest of the voice actors doesn't fit in and it sounds like they are reading their lines straight off the paper. Plus, I had to play on lowest graphics with resolution 1600 because it takes ALL GPU power when also recording. That sucked. Im using Nvidia RTX 3070, 32GB ram and AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-core Other than that, I recommend it. It never got boring. https://youtu.be/0gq2jvGXuKI

  Not a bad game, who ever did that music score on the piano is a master! i loved that bit, then you get the Holy Shotgun which was fun to use, buy this on sale, its ok but not amazing so far, i'm on night 3

  12/10 - Scared the shit out of me. This is indie horror at its finest/as it should be. Never had a moment to relax, kept me on my toes, and jump scares and battles and twist that actually got to me. As someone who plays a lot of horror, I wish more games were like this
