Meet Hongbi and Hongshi, a brother and sister who fly off into adventure through the magic of Cloud Bread. Together, with their family and friends, they spend their childhood using creativity and imagination to learn the important lessons of life.

[THE WORLD OF Cloud Bread An Introduction]

“One rainy morning, a tiny cloud was caught on a tree branch outside our home. My little brother and I removed the tiny cloud very carefully so it wouldn‟t blow away, and gave it to our mom. Mom kneaded it in with the bread dough and put the loaves in the oven. After it was well baked, the sweet smelling bread was so light it floated in the air. That is how our adventures with Cloud Bread began.”

Cloud Bread is the preschool TV animation series (78 stories of 7 minutes in length) based on the twice award winning book written and illustrated by Hee-na Baek and published by Hansol Education Co. Ltd. The Bologna Children‟s Book Fair honored Ms. Baek in 2005 as “Illustrator of the Year” and the following year voted Cloud Bread the “Best Picture Book of 2006.” Not only those many children and parents who have already experienced this delightfully imaginative book but also those who haven‟t had the opportunity yet are sure to enjoy the TV series designed to be faithful to the unique artistic style and adventures of this popular work.

Each story begins with an introduction by Hongbi, an imaginative and lovable seven year old girl kitten, who serves as our narrator. Her keen observation and fertile imagination records her daily life with her little 5 year old brother, Hongshi which is full of fun, fantasy, and adventures.

The children‟s stories are located where the children live, play and learn, at their home, their village and their school. Each cluster of three stories per half hour will range from simple stories about everyday life to the dream fantasies of children and involve learning about life, responsibility and schoolbook lessons. The Cloud Bread series is designed to appeal to the imagination and wonder of preschool aged children and the child within their parents.
