Quite possibly one of the most aggravating "puzzle" games I've ever seen, if only because there seems to be no "puzzle" to it. A puzzle implies there is a set path to success, an order of operations that, when learned, always leads to success. But this game is just random. Sure, at first, there is an order of operations, a set path to success in all the stages. And then the Assassins get thrown into the mix. When an Assassin dies, they will add their numbers to another entity within the current tower that isn't the player. This can include the multipliers you can use to add to your own power, other Assassins, and even Priests, who steal your own power when battled. The problem is whoever gets this power is random. And some levels require the Assassin buffs to be applied to your multipliers or even to other Assassins to ramp up your own growth to take on a super powerful foe. The problem is that if even one roll of the dice comes up snake eyes, you're redoing the stage. This reaches it's ultimate ridiculousness in stage 20, where you need multiple Assassins to jump their power to multipliers in different towers, then for a mega tower with a super boss at the top. This one tower has four Assassins and if a single one of them apply their boost to the big boss, your run is over. That's seven rolls of the dice you essentially need to luck out on to win. While my playtime is something around 40 minutes as I write this, a good half of that has been spent just on this one stage. And knowing there's ten more stages after? Yeesh. EDIT: I finally beat the stage, but I still don't feel like I "figured it out" and instead the game just gave me the luck I needed to win. I still had one of the coin flip Assassins give their power to the boss, but the rest just kept piling onto each other before finally giving their power to the multiplier at the bottom, giving me such a massive number that I couldn't lose. The margin for error was still so slim that I don't feel like I won but I just lucked into it.

Succubus: Hunt For Meal is a naughty rip off of Hero Castle Wars. The game play is entirely just moving the succubus from one space to the next via drag and drop, while making sure you always have the bigger number. When you move her, our girl gets naughty for a few seconds with whatever is in the room and her number goes up or down depending on the value assigned to whatever she just screwed and whatever she just screwed. It's the same half dozen or so animations over and over and quickly looses it's charm. There is a thin veil of story to all this, which is poorly translated and adds no real value to the game. I can NOT recommend this to anyone, as not only is the "gameplay" completely unengaging and uninspired, but by the time you reach level 20 it becomes apparent that progression is entirely dependent on luck. The problem is that the assassin enemies randomly buff another room in their tower and whatever is in that room. Some enemies cause you to subtract from your total number rather than add to it and the game is dependent on the assassins randomly buffing the right space so you can add to your total. However, what space they buff is totally random and you will find yourself unable to advance through no fault of your own. There is no skill, or strategy here. It's just blind luck and that causes the game to quickly become an exercise in frustration. The fun from the titillation quickly fades and what you find yourself left with is a bad game and buyers remorse. At least by the time you get to that point you're still within the refund period and refunding this trash is exactly what anyone foolish enough to buy it should do. I know I am.

Pros -The pixel art is decent, though limited Cons -Not much story to speak of -Even though it's a puzzle game, the actual puzzles are so easy you can hardly tell -Instead, a lot of the harder puzzles rely on random luck, so you can waste a lot of time replaying the same thing until you get the result you need Conclusion While I am a fan of good pixel art, this game did not offer enough that I could easily overlook the massive shortcomings in the gameplay. Requiring random chance to complete a puzzle game is kind of unforgivable - the difficult parts don't feel like a fun challenge to overcome and are more like a wall you have to smack your head against until RNGesus finally relents and lets you through.

Some of the puzzles are random chance and it makes it hard to get past them because you have to keep doing the same thing over and over til it works finally

You have to clear the towers by attacking characters with lower scores than your own.
Gameplay
You have to clear all towers by attacking characters with lower numbers than your own. When you win the number of the character attacked it added to yours. Additionally there are other feature, toys that earn you double their score, assassins who add there number to another character in the tower (THIS IS THE PROBLEM WITH THE GAME), holy people who subtract their number from yours. The problem with the assassins is that their buff goes to a random character in the tower and in later levels you need it to go to a specific character to be able to complete the level, this is VERY POOR game design. I stopped on level 19 where you need three different assassins to buff a specific thing and if any one of the three fail you cannot complete the level. After hitting my head against the wall with the third assassin always buffing the wrong thing I stopped playing. A game you cannot win due to game design is a poor game.
The Gallery
The Gallery contains the different "attacks" that you make while playing the game, all images are 8-bit style.
Final Verdict
I DO NOT recommend this game. I'm fine with difficult games, but not impossible games. If you have to have multiple random events occur to pass a level the game is poorly designed.
