  One of the better DLCs, adds more challenge and fun toys. However, it should have been triggered content such as visit a special site on the map to start it, rather than forcing it on players quite early on... hence some of the negative reviews.

  Adds almost indestructible robots very early in the game. On top of humongous armor, they still add an almost indestructible shield which apparently is free for them to to place (no AP). They can be destroyed but it takes all the attention of your full squad to bring down one, and you'll be out of grenades for the next. The worst is that they interfere with your regular campaign because they will start showing up in missions and haven defenses. And it adds nothing fun or interesting to the game.

  This DLC is meh, missions containing pure appear way too early and are fairly often in my experience so it kind of just shuts down the possibility of progress through those missions. Don't like that at all but they become more manageable as the game progresses, and in the end I think the ability to mechanize soldiers makes it worth it.

  wish you could ally with the pure but otherwise a great dlc and superior to bio weapons in every way. for the pure!

  Doesn't mesh well with the base game at all. This adds two missions and a new type of enemy to raid havens, and one of those missions is totally redundant. If you enjoy fighting enemies with a hundred armor per body part and permanent tall cover, this is for you, but if you like fun and engaging gameplay maybe not. On top of all that, the added customization for your characters using robot parts sounds fun but will never be used in gameplay unless you cheese your economy using food producing buildings or mods, it's all simply too damn expensive having to pay up 100 materials and 20 tech after every mission because one guy's arm had a mosquito fly into it.
