  Great game, the best WWII RTS. A very Toxic community tho, here's just 4 reasons why.. 1. If you're starting out and low rank you will get kicked from every lobby, if you are experienced with high rank you will get kicked from every 2nd lobby, if your ping is over 100ms you get kicked from every lobby in between (even tho the game won't lag until around 350ms+). 2. Join a match, 3 vs 3 for example, a team mate loses a tank and then quits, the other team mate decides to quit also, you're left alone playing 3 vs 1, (2a). the opposing team ask you to please stay, you stay and lose and then get told by winning team that you are a worthless human being and how they are much smarter, stronger, better looking, richer and generally better than you in life because they beat you 3, 4 or even 5 vs 1..Happens quite often if you allow it by staying. 3. New players may join a match with others who have similar rank and similar amount of games, quickly you learn they are using Steam Family Sharing and have created a 2nd (Smurf) account and they have played on their first account more than 5000 or even 7000 games compared to what their rank states as 100 games played. 4. Playing Combat mode and everyone spams artillery and rockets and then the losing team quit early and (go back to point 2a. of review). Other than these type of things, it's great fun for the entire family.

  While the difference in this game compared to The previous assault squad is minimal, there are a few key differences that does improve the game. The graphics and animations have been slightly improved along with a few minor unit improvements. The one big reason I purchased this game is due to the fact that there is now the steam workshop added for the game, there are a lot of decent mods and maps/missions that make the game enjoyable if you dont fancy multiplayer. I cant comment too much on multiplayer as I never got into it. Overall though the game can be enjoyable if you liked previous verisons of the game or are a fan of RTS WW2 games.

  good game. Its better with mods. there is really good mods for this game. like better than dlc quality. 7/10 base game. 20/10 with the free mods.
