  Have you ever wanted to play an adorable version of Factorio with machine learning, cats, and a sense of humour? If the answer is yes, then this is the game for you! I have this serious purchasing issue where I literally can't say no to anything involving kitties, so for there to be a legitimately fun game in here was awesome! ...Only problem is now I can't play Factorio because I keep looking for the cats, the humour, & the adorable unique art style. Oh well... Who needs a rocket factory when you can have a kitty factory instead? Glory to KOTOVOD!

  Didn't really like the factorio game, not because it's a bad game, not at all, it's a masterpiece! Though, when I want to sit and play, mostly I want to chill and take my time to rest and relax. Learning factory is succeeding in this with me and honestly, it's a pretty good vibe game :) I really want to see how things progress from this point on, didn't manage to play a lot until now, though it convinced me that I really like it ^~^ It has everything that was missing from factorio. CATS!

  It seems fairly balanced and functional as a minimalist Factorio knockoff, but the pricepoint seems much higher than the quality of game delivered. Maybe in a year or two once it's finished and polished things will be better.

  This a fantastic game with a great concept. 10/10 if you liked factorio and want something a bit more chill and cat-related

  I'm a sucker for programming-type games, and usually have a lot of patience for games with rough edges but a good game at the core. Unfortunately, this isn't it. It's basically a Factorio rip-off, with worse tutorials, controls, interface, graphics, and gameplay. I understand simplifying the interface to appeal to learners and kids, but a simple interface should also be easy to understand, and this one isn't. The gameplay is hasty and poorly explained, and simply not engaging. Finally, the technical problems are what inspired me to write a review in the first place. The game takes over a minute to load. How? It's just a bunch of sprites, what could it possibly be doing? And when I gave up in frustration and went to quit, it hung for about 20 seconds saying "saving game" before it let me return to the menu. This is beyond early access, the game is clearly just inefficient in spots that it shouldn't be. I hope the devs clean this up and make it a functional game. Right now it's not.

  This game is really dissaponiting. It tries to ripoff factorio, but without getting to its technical and QoL quality. All of them are replaced with cat memes, that I already had plenty of in "while true: learn". Minimap is useless and dont really helps to find anything useful, game freezes a lot on my quite powerful laptop that can easily handle high resolution factorio bases and mods. Tutorial is bad and don't actually tell what you should do, game is bad at explaining what it is about and without prior experience with similar games (factorio, dyson sphere project, mindustry, etc.) it's hard to understand what and how you should do it. At the same time, if you played those games, you will notice lack of polish at almost every aspect of the game. Yes, this game is in early access, but with discount it costs me 10$ (instead of 15$). At the same time factorio early access was with the same price, had great demo version and was much more polished overall. And the same goes for Dyson Sphere Project, which has the same price, but for much much more polished gameplay. It's shame that this game don't have demo, so you can check it before buying, instead of buying and refunding. I hope that developers will try to address atleast some of the issues, and will provide demo, so people will know what they are buying.

  Weird very simple version of Factorio. I have no issue with making games in that style, but It doesn't bring anything new to the table except cats as customers that drive your goals - build the things they want to make money/research resources. On the other hand, it lacks the interesting logistical challenges and combat aspects. It just doesn't feel interesting or compelling to play over a Factorio mod.

  played the previous game of the same dev, while true: learn(), really like the concept of combining learning and gaming(which the game is still fun), i also like factorio-ish/automation game, and i am a cat lover and usually playing game with one cat (DORDOR) on my lap and one (KAKA) sleep next to me. so this one is an instant buy for me still in EA, as stated in the roadmap, many features, including the 'learning' part had not been implemented yet but still the game is smooth and charming. From the past experience, dev is friendly too. just to show my Support! Keep going!

  I like it. As of right now, it is a bit rough around the edges. Mostly seems to be lacking content, and tooltips for things. I have run into one bug, which wasn't even game braking. It just made some cats or resources disappear. Like I just couldn't see them, I still had them. I definitely am looking forward to how this game develops.

  Highly recommended, I bought it the moment the lovely Discord staff said it was up on Steam for sale. Keeping in mind, this is an Early Access game, so some features will be inevitably changed, but so far, the game is so reminiscent of Factorio. Within the two hours of me playing this game, it had me do some quests that get you a little taste of the game. [b] Fair Warning, this game is buggy. It just got released a few hours ago. [/b] Have some faith you people. I personally have beef with that delayed crafting bug. [h1] Story [/h1] Cat scientist on Mars, just waiting for a human who has a universal unifying theory on cat and their consumption patterns, which could easily be used by reviving an old factory on Mars. (Correct me if I am wrong on the take of the story) I love this quirky story. Also, cats who are willing to move up and out, through a portal to Mars [spoiler] (with money presumably stolen from their masters (although to be fair, they were offered those, since we're all just slave to our Cat Overlords) [/spoiler] , and then buy at a shop for the goods they want. I have never been so wanting to approach a niche game quite like this. My cat doesn't even want to move or budge from its spot, unless for food. So this is refreshing for me as a pet owner. >_> [h1] Gameplay [/h1] It is as repetitive and gets quite boring while as is, but if you prefer watching our [spoiler] Cat Overlords [/spoiler] buy their things, then you're set for life. Although, I do not find it boring while finding out cost-efficient ways to get resources and process those through the most optimized means possible. It speaks volumes to that degree in Economics that I have. I even encountered regression here, which I don't want to open another can of worms, tyvm. I do like this kind of gameplay, reminds me of idlers that let me play while I do actual life stuff, but I get to learn a little about machine learning as a bonus for playing this game. [h1] Tutorial (or lack thereof memorable one, somehow) [/h1] I always separate ratings for the tutorial and gameplay since the tutorial sets the tone of the game and the pace of it. So far, it won't get you anywhere that much, just research, resource generation, resource processing, and setting up shop. As for the rest, you will have to do guess work and leg work to keep things running. That means, the tutorial is still in the process of changing and rewriting. But still, a solid effort for an Early Access game tutorial. There's a room for improvement. [h1] Graphics/Performance [/h1] Placeholder? Nah, I will talk about it, and I must say, it works on my potato laptop, that means I can watch cats buy stuff anywhere I want. It doesn't use up a big chunk of RAM on my laptop [spoiler] (forgive my old laptop, I need a desktop but I have no funds for a big purchase of one, and I have no VRAM on this thing) [/spoiler] . A neat game about programming and AI stuff (just like WTL, that I also play a lot) and my potato laptop won't suffer because of it? Sign meeeee up! [h1] Music [/h1] I have no comment on this, if I can be honest. I muted everything since I can't ever focus on a game with music (serene or not) blasting through my ears. But... let's just give that a thumbs up too, while we're at it. [spoiler] (For those statistics nerds, YES. I KNOW IT WILL HAVE A BIAS. AND NO, I DO NOT CARE! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!) [/spoiler] [h1] Afterthoughts [/h1] It's a really educational game that is fun to play when you'd know what to do. With that said, they do provide some informational materials to keep you informed, entertained, and glued to the game. Other than that, if you keep in mind that the game is inevitable to patches and changes, this is a REALLY great game to learn machine learning and snag a few optimization techniques in the process (quite handy in factory-esque games).
