  Why in god's name can't I pull espresso shots directly into paper cups? Why do I HAVE to write names on cups? I like the concept but the game is still pretty rough. I broke the game in the first 5 minutes, during the tutorial at the beginning. I put supplies on the shelf too fast and apparently the game failed to realize that I had already done what it was asking me to do. I'll be keeping my eye on this game, but for now I'd hold off unless you are dead set on trying it.

  Definitely still buggy... I had to restart the game mid-tutorial, as I started doing my own thing without following the quest log, with certain interactions locked (such as throwing away a batch of espresso). Things seem to take a bit too long to make, which results in the build-up of customer lines. Hopefully, this gets better as I get to upgrade things more. I also ended up putting a box onto the warehouse, but cannot move it onto the shelves. I'll continue to play around with it to see if I am just missing something or if it truly is a bug. Fun concept, will continue to play, but can definitely tell that it is mid-development.

  this game has a lot of potential the only things i would like maybe if it could be like at least 2 players that would be fun and for more stuff got updated it would be good

  This game has so much potential - it's a fun ride if you want something chill to play. You spawn in a small house with a cafe on the same lot - you choose the name before starting the game. After completing a tutorial that shows the basic mechanics of the game, you are free to purchase different equipment and ingredients to personalise your cafe and you can purchase different decorations such as tables, chairs and paintings to decorate the cafe. I do have a couple suggestions of how it could be improved by the devs though: - the writing is pretty bad, a lot of the sentences are nonsensical, especially for the item descriptions. - the mechanic of trying to sell items has me super frustrated, there's no obvious way to do it so I've put all my old items into a pile by the outside bin. There's also no way to remove half-filled shot glasses, it would be cool if you could utilise the tap on them! Again I've had to pile mine up because I don't have anything else I can do with them - it would be awesome if you could decorate your house or if this will be improved in future updates. At the minute it's an squat hut with just a bed - the player only needs the house to sleep and save really but it's pretty ugly - similarly it would be cool if you could decorate the exterior of your cafe. Again, as the game is in early access, it looks really simple - it's just a weird purple grey block and it kinda destroys the immersion - it would be really cool if you could explore the world a little more. At the minute your house and cafe are on the same lot (yes for some reason the cafe owner lives in a house right next to the cafe xD) and there's an invisible wall blocking you from leaving. It looks like there's another building across the road, opposite the lot which could be explorable - similarly the NPCs just kinda randomly spawn on the lot, it would be great if you could see them actually walking onto the lot from outside, i.e. along the road. It makes it feel kinda goofy that they just randomly appear - when the NPCs enter the cafe, they usually drop a crazy amount of cigarettes. It gets to the point where it's just quite annoying having to constantly clean up after them. Maybe then devs could cut down how often this happens and also add some variation, like different forms of rubbish To the devs, I do hope you understand this isn't criticism in any way but more an attempt to get an opinion on your game and how it could be improved! It's only exactly what I was looking for when I searched cafe sim on steam. I love a good simulation game and this game,, although in early access, has so much potential and I really look forward to seeing how the devs take it further. I do recommend if you want a chill game to play whilst watching videos or listening to a podcast.

  Pretty fun so far but there are a few things that are frustrating. Bought the ice machine so i could make iced coffees and iced americanos but didn't realize that all of the iced beverages would be automatically unlocked and available for the customers. I assumed the lattes and mochas would still be locked until i purchased a fridge and milk but I was wrong. Turning away customers also wasn't an option so I just ended up giving them an empty cup to make them leave so I can help the next person in line lol. Aside from that it's pretty fun! Going to keep playing :) Will update as needed

  This game is fun I would say but kind of difficult at this point in time. I love the idea and it has a good foundation. I always expect so many crashes from sim games because they are always buggy but it only happened once in this game in like 4 hours of play. I think there are some quality of life things they could add in the future, but I do understand it is in early access. I really did enjoy playing today and will continue to play it. Things I really want to see in the future in this game to make it either easier or more user friendly: 1. Ability to hire other staff members (I didnt see it as an option at least). This would make it easier to manage so many orders and the wait before your shop has to close at 2000. 2. Stop making the electricity go out every time I PAY MY BILL. lmfao. If I am paying my bill it shouldn't shut off right after. 3. I think a quicksave feature could be really important. Or the ability to setup a option quick save option. It was pretty hard when my game crashed and I lost an ENTIRE day. Although I'm not that upset, I just truly wouldn't want it to keep happening. 4. Explain what the angry guy in the back is meant to do lol. I understood that he was there to cause trouble after awhile, but it was a bit confusing for awhile why he would run in and out so fast. 5. The option to turn on or off certain drinks. It was incredibly difficult when I bought a milk frother and it added around 10 new drinks with specific liquid amounts. It can be so hard to make some of those drinks and keep up when you just start. I also bought only 1 syrup but people started requesting a bunch I didn't have yet. 6. When there are things you don't have or have run out of, there should be a way to turn away customers or to offer them a different similar drink if you have those items. I am excited moving forward and hope to hear what's next!

  i really enjoy this game, when i first saw the game i went to the reviews saw that there was only 2 of them all negative, i realized that this game just came out, i decided to try it out and i really enjoy it, some people are just lazy and write bad reviews about games that are actually good

  This game has a lot of potential. It would be nice to start new games without doing the tutorial again, plus a practice mode would be good. It is kinda hard to try new drinks when a line is forming behind the customers.
