  I don't really have much to add to this game. It's stylistic, graphic, and "wet". I mean any and every surface of this game looks like it went through a baby oil factory before coming out the other side. Not a bad time, if you can stomach the content. Recoiled myself a couple times.   Game Crashing within seconds or minutes of launching FIX. This seems to be an issue with a 10th or greater generations of Intel processors from what I've gathered from researching online. Here's the FIX. Step 1: Click Win+E Step 2: Right Click "This PC" and select Properties. Step 3: Select Advanced System Settings. Step 4: Under the "Advanced Tab" at the bottom of the page Click "Environment Variables". Step 5: Under "System Variables" Click "New". Step 6: In the "Variable Name" box paste "OPENSSL_ia32cap" without the quotation marks. Step 7: In the "Variable Value" box paste "~0x200000200000000" without the quotation marks. Step 8: Click OK and close out of everything. Step 9: Restart your PC Step 10: Have fun playing the game. https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/articles/troubleshooting/openssl-sha-crash-bug-requires-application-update.html "OpenSSL* 1.0.2 beta (Jun 2014) to OpenSSL 1.0.2k (Jan 2017) contain bugs that either cause a crash or bad SHA (Secure Hash Algorithm) values on processors with the SHA extensions, such as the recently released 10th Generation processor. Both bugs were fixed years ago; however, any application that uses the old version directly, or as one of its dependencies, will fail. Unreal Engine* version 4.13 (Sept 2016) to version 4.21 (Dec 2018) contains the old version of OpenSSL, so any game built using those versions is possibly affected."

  DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!!! As many have indicated this version of the game is not stable, after launching the game you have about 30 seconds until the game crashes no matter what you are doing. It is not a spec issue, I am running a i7-11700, 512G SSD, RTX 3080ti, and 32GB RAM, so well beyond what the game requires, this is obviously a optimization issue.

  Despite few patches and some new additions, the game is still just as much of a mess as the original version of the game. The shock value from uncensored content quickly fades after first level. If you still want to play it, wait for deep deep sale.

  This game has potential with the world they created. The environments are really intriguing and what I enjoyed most about the game. Unfortunately, the game got in its own way due to constant enemy contacts that were not enjoyable and just atrocious. I did like the game but it was very frustrating and I wouldn't wish this on many people who have hard-earned money that they could possibly be spending better on literally anything else. If on sale and you want to give it go, why not?

  The devs could have given up the game and leave it unfinished (speaking about the censorship polemic) but instead of that, the made Agony UNRATED. - FREE for Agony owners and only 12€ for people who didn't buy Agony - Last updates which means improved a ton of stuff, added new features, etc... - And mainly, no censorship at all, as it should have been What else ?

  I recommed the game strongly, shortcomings notwithstanding. Its main selling point being the shock, even disgust, brought forth by a depiction of hell heavily relying on carnal, filthy and grotesque imagery, Agony Unrated makes little use of concepts such as suspense, moderation and progression, immediately and constantly showing off its assets---occasionally to an excessive, quite childish degree. Visuals are gorgeous, anatomy sometimes needs to be worked on, content is scrumptiously morbid; alas, (English) voice acting differs strikingly, coming off as quite flat. This said, Agony Unrated is welcome and refreshing for a whole different reason, too. In the stale landscape of an industry where most of the time extreme violence and gore are ridiculously shielded by the whole "saving the world", "good vs. evil", "us vs. them" tropes and sexual themes are shunned or confined to dismally modest or highly controversial and censored visual novels, some motion, a ripple, albeit immature, is sorely needed. Of course the mix of horror, gore and indecency is far from being an innovation and may not be the correct answer, but the endeavor to produce something of import is certainly crowned by Agony Unrated with its gratuitous, glorious and unadulterated exhibition. It is as gorging on a feast after times of deprivation. While obviously not family friendly, such an effort, considering the quality delivered and the price, is certainly worth supporting and playing. Besides, we all know the controversy following the lauch of the censored version of Agony. The devs deserve some measure of recognition for enduring the storm and bearing the consequences of unwise or possibly forced choices. I have not played enough time to come to a fair conclusion about the technical execution of the game, but on a modest i5-2500/GTX 960 it runs flawlessy with everything maxed out. The controls feel slightly unresponsive, but it is mostly a matter of habit. For an indie production it has excellent value and is priced quite fairly.
